  • Condi clearing is hard on this build, but will grant 9 secs of total immunity from conditions. There's also the possibility of using to gain the same effect for 6 seconds, but at cost the cost of hp regen. Note: Resistance can be corrupted.
  • Remember that will proc at 50% hp and will also break stun.

Even now way after of the PoF launch this build remains a very strong and solid build. If taking shake it off istead of endure pain and mending istead of the signet to compensate the condi cleanse lack of this build. Maybe this build doesn't have the perma 20 stacks of might but it's ability to chain ccs and super high dps via the primal bursts, it's able to pump off crazy damage. This build remains a very strong option to play. I run mending, shake it off and bullcharge whit eternal champion, and blood reaction. And it works very well even vs high rank players(plat3). This build is great

The main take between this build and the hambow is that this one can provide a high amount of general pressure overall. It still maintains the same counters but is less effected by them, allowing more opportunity for team mates to step in and sway momentum in the greataxe's direction. There is no cleanse for this build's oppression.

For sure a very good burst build, if it gets through though. Pretty high resistence, decent mobility through gs + if you know how to kite you can easily win every 1v1. Time your bursts perfectly and your opponent drops real quick. Harder to play than condi war so I'd recommend this build for more experienced warriors.

Try this: Runes of the daredevil, sigil of purity on 1 set, sigil of generosity on other set, hydro and leeching, drop endure pain for signet of endurance, drop Defy Pain for Armored Attack, Bloody Roar for King of Fires and last but not least - try sword instead of axe. all weaknesses are gone and skill floor is up in the sky - enjoy wrecking. This build is okish in pvp and real goddamn beast in WvW with full knights set and a few cavalier pieces.

I Use Trait line of strength over Discipline. This is Just a Eviscerate Build, works really well against thieves, and dragon hunters.

For a warrior build this build is bad for 2 reasons. First one is the pack rune that thing is the most usless thing for the warrior when the warrior has alot more valuable options for a rune like streinght rune hoel barck even leadership is also a good choice and the seckond reason is the rousing resilians basickly its shit true it heals and gives tougness while instead of that you can use the clensing ire or even balance stance another good change is the skill outrage it can be swaped for doliak to increas survive ability against normal dmg

I agree on the comments prior - but I feel this build is rather overrated for 1v1s. The Ragezerker build has a bit more balance, and likely deserves the placement under Good. Has issues against any decent Tempest, CondiChrono, etc. It has uses, but won't hold up in the current meta.

It's good, but very overrated. Gets destroyed by most meta specs in 1v1s especially revs and it's completely negated by any decent tempest in teamfights.

Been running this extensively since HoT came out, it works much better with runes of rage. Pack provides nothing, more that we dont already have. We have the movement speed from warrior's sprint, rune of rage provides almost perma fury uptime just by its set effect and fatal frenzy upon entering one arcing slice every once in a while easily ensure perma fury, leaving you the ability to spend your adrenaline out of berserker mode on Eviscerate to deal more dmg. 1 stack of might from the set bonus is really nothing, runes of rage provide a 5% dmg increase when under fury, and a lot more ferocity for higher crits. It simply far outshines runes of the pack or strength on this build which doesn't stack any might to start with.

I had been playing lb/s/sh and was loving the damage output until i tried this, i used stomp over outrage though and cleansing ire over rousing resilience...also used dogged march, dead or alive, and eternal champion. I also use 1 doom sigil to keep a little poison uptime to effect heals. Loving the fact that non condi builds are back for warrior they are so much more enjoyable of a play style i think.

Compared to other direct damage dealers(i.e. revnant and thief) i think they are interchangeable in most games however thief is way less effective in teamfights then revnant or warrior. And revnants get eaten by condi classes way faster then warrior (esp. If using cleansing ire).

Stomp is great for keeping people off point that extra second for the decap or full cap, can provide nice cc with extremely high damage making it harder for classes to escape. Gs#5 provides a great escape if needed.

Between GS/Ham, GS/LB and GS/Rifle, Power GS builds have come and gone. GS/A+Sh is much the same, and while it does offer high damage on point, it suffers significantly against meta/common condi classes including Mesmer, Necro, "Rage"zerker and Mallyx Rev. GS 5 and Shield 5 do offer reliable breathing room when put under unsustainable pressure -- which will be common every time you face these classes with Berserker Stance on cooldown.

Power Revenant offers better damage, CC, evasion, Might/Fury/Swiftness access, blinds, anti-block, reveal and burst healing under pressure. The only reason to run this build on your team over Power Revenant is because it is easier to play, as the majority of its defenses (see: Berserker Stance, all stun breaks) are used after-the-fact rather than preemptively.

Been using this build since update. Would be better with Pack rune imo for the fury (Right now there is no fury in the build).

However you can kill any enemy. Does require some skill. The longer the fight takes, the lower your chances of winning are. Therefore quick hands and reactions are required. But once mastered... Oh man, sick!

Why i think this build is top tier: it is solid, has a great survivability thanks to patch changes, and it has enought damage output to give benefit to the team. In addiction, 2 stuns on demand are nice to get, assuming that target calling is available and the team goes on with it.

Greatsword is the warrior best choice to deal a nice burst, even if a couple of other weapons can do the same (sword/torch for the condition version).

With this build, as warrior, we can basically take the place of a power shiro rev in the team.
