Usage

DPS Rotation

Engineer has a lot of skills, the DPS rotation depends heavily on your alacrity uptime. Though the general idea of a good engineer rotation can be boiled down to using your highest damaging skills off cooldown.

Priority Skills

While these skills are on cooldown you can rotate between weaker condition skills

This build has not really been updated post spring/summer balance patches. I feel like there are better trait options and rotation options. This specific build does not appear to be the best anymore. I'm not confident enough just yet to put forth my own build adjustments and reasons, also the time and patience, no thanks.

I've been using this build for months now.

I do such high DPS that I pull aggro off of DPS classes at a range. Combine with necros that can epidemic, and the result is such an overpowered team that everything dies.

Finally got to see this build in action. In the right hands it is in-fucking-credible. Extremely high DPS in scenarios where the boss doesn't cleanse (and considering the not-so-bad ramp up time it can come back soon enough). Does a great job in the flexibility department. Capable of stacking 25 might on the party, capable of aoe stealthing the party, capable of blinding trash. This build can do it all with enough mastery. Given it's simpler role of DPS and stealth, this one does absolutely fine and surpasses many other classes for DPS. Lacks mobility and tbh it requires a very high level of mastery imo for it to be competitive. But if you're an expert, then by all means try this build out!

The highest dmg the engi has to offer which also has some great blind utility without the need to swap skills. Condi cleanse and immunity might be problematic though.

14s break even point for damage done compared to Power Grenadier. Better than PG in level 80 content.

Highest DPS I could achieve on an Engi, a superior replacement to the power grenadier build. The nourishment is key to the working of this build but it is well worth it.
