Tanking Variant

When tanking you need to have the highest toughness in the group, you can achieve that by replacing trinkets with Rabid ones, usually an amulet or two rings should be enough.

Usage

DPS Rotation

Engineer has a lot of skills, the DPS rotation depends heavily on your alacrity uptime. Though the general idea of a good engineer rotation can be boiled down to using your highest damaging skills off cooldown.

Priority Skills

While these skills are on cooldown you can rotate between weaker condition skills

Lastly use your grenade auto-attack to fill in the gaps.

Simplified Rotation

The simplified rotation offers a dps decrease compared to the theorical max dps, but at the exchange of a concistent and easier rotation to memorize.

Use every time its off cooldown, regardless of what part of the rotation you are on.

Notes & Tips

  • If you mess up the rotation, you will have to make a mix of both phases in order to keep the dps flowing.
  • In the rotation, add 1 or 2 more if you didn't had 100% alacrity alacrity during the rotation.
  • In the last of the second phase, you can add 3 if you want concistently use in the first phase.

An experienced Engineer will always be able to take 2nd best dps with experienced teammates, and the top dps in bosses where the condi engi shines.

Completely great build overall, you cant go bad with this build as long as you show you know your Engi well.

Meaby change streamlined kits for take down round and adrenal implantants for kinetic batery (double incendiary ammo) this can maximalize your dps.

The best engineer build for raids and a great condition damage build in general. On top of that it provides some utilities like water fields, blinds and good CC.
