Note:

  • By default this build only uses Axe/Torch for both weapon sets. As a cost-effective solution, instead of buying two of the same set, you'll only be taking a main hand weapon on one set and only an off hand on the other set. This allows you to stay on the same weapons while still being able to swap between sets in order to proc
    .
  • Use Sinister stats if you do not have Heart of Thorns.

Usage

  1. Weapon swap to proc
    and use
  2. Weapon swap to proc
    and use
  3. x2
  4. Go to #7 and repeat.

General

  • Do not swap pets unless they are in danger of dying. You don't want them to lose all their boons (especially quickness if they received it).
  • Swap your pets at the start of the fight to proc
. Swapping pets during the fight is damage loss because the pet loses his boons, so only swap when necessary.
  • Swap to your Electric Wyvern for crowd control.
    should be used as well.
  • Make sure your spirit is in range of the raid group. Put it between the boss and the places you're most likely to kite towards.

This build is pretty much the same as the A/T Condition Druid currently in Meta. However, this build sacrifices some of the support and utility of the Druid and instead offers a somewhat increased DPS for your group being able to sustain the 10% increased damage for a longer time over a bigger area and giving a personal DPS boost from your pet and flame trap.

If your raid-group already has a dedicated support, I would consider running this build over the A/T Condition Druid.

Used to run this before HoT, it's still a decent build but it's outclassed by elite specs.

Great build, but does suffer some weaknesses. Both of the main attacks are melee ranged AoEs so that make hitting them reliably sometimes hard. The spirit also have a chance (albeit low) of dying. For Bosses which hardly move or do not move at all and you can be in melee range, this works fantastically. Very easy to use as well. I don't think it's on-par with a perfect condi-engi rotation (but that's nearly impossible to pull of) or a condi-reaper's dps, but I do believe it has taken atleast third place. Remember that this build includes Spotter, Frost Spirit, and Sun Spirit which are great unique buffs for everyone else in your party/subgroup.

Easy rotation, so that's a big plus. I like the optimized gear/runes. And only needing two weapons/sigils is awesome. Great trait synergy. Very good DPS, especially considering how easy this build is to use. I can see this also being useful in raids.

Very high condition damage and support through constant fire field and fire spirit. Ideal for condition heavy teams and effective even in raids.

A good build but ultimately it's still a ranger. The build also really suffers when you need reliable ranged damage, this, combined with the weakness against structures means it's probably a niche build.

This is an excellent fractal ranger build. Elsewhere it's not that great, because certain dungeon bosses cleanse & you have to kill lots of objects etc & things just die a bit too fast. (although the rampup time on this build is not that bad, especially if you can pre-trap.) Other ranger builds pale in comparison when it comes to aoe.

About consumables. It's not as bad as ppl think. You can use the 36% cduration budget pizza(3 silver) & for the utlity slot insteadof the 50 silver toxic thing you can use a normal tuning crystal. What you need to bear in mind though that the optimal sigils change if you plan to go with these consumables.
