  • Shoutmancer is a hybrid DPS build meant for teamfights - while it has a fair amount of sustain, try to avoid standing on point whenever you can, especially when low on Life Force (LF).
  • Use before the match starts for a bit of free LF - it should be up before you need it.
  • Try to hit as many targets with shouts as possible for increased effect and CD reduction. Objects/buildings on some maps can also interact with shouts especially on the Battle of Kyhlo.
  • can be used to constantly consume Blind Blind from you to increase the chance of landing key skills. Be sure to activate it right before you have to go melee range with Reaper Shroud as the added mobility and LF regen will be quite useful too.

Blood Magic only:

  • The well created by doesn't heal the caster in Shroud.

Basically a worse version of Corruptionmancer. The difference between the two is actually pretty small. Wanderer's gear isn't worth taking over Carrion. The build also forces you to take Spectral Armor or Plague Signet for a stunbreak; not ideal considering you already have "Rise!" and "Suffer!" One of those two should be replaced with Spectral Armor or Plague Signet.

Good build, doing well in matches with it myself.

Build was also run by Noscoc in pro league. He took plague signet for what's listed as an optional utility slot on this page, and the only other difference between this build and his was he ran 2-2-2 on Soul Reaping (death perception for dhuumfire). I recommend at least adding death perception as an alternative on this page.

Wow, I am running this build(with few variants in especs) and I don't know that this build was here. Decent sustain with a decent hybrid damage. My variants in especs: Unholy Martyr in Blood Magic and Death Perception.

Condi damage, shouts and team support work very well together. This could be a viable alternative to signets and spite, having less boon corruption, might stacking and overall damage, but providing more condi removal, sustain and support.

Some remarks: I am not possitive about "transfusion": the teleport seems out of place on a melee skill. Although it combos well with "rise"... I'd have to do more testing.

Lack of boon corruption makes it unworthy of a 'great' rating in my eyes as its one of the necro's responsibilities. A possibility would be to take "corrupt boon" or "nothing can save you" over "you are all weaklings".

There's definitely potential here.

Updateː After more testing I decided to change my vote to 'great'. I see boon stripping has been added as an option to the utility skills. "Blood Magic" provides useful support to the team by having improved ress, some team healing and soldier rune allows for condi removal. The ability to teleport a downed ally can be very useful. Furthermore, "Transfusion" combos nicely with "Rise". As a suggestionː maybe "Banshee's Wail" trait could be an alternative to "Vampiric Presence"? The usefulness of the latter is questionable, while the former at least allows near-permanent swiftness.

This is a viable alternative to the Signet Chillomancer.

While this build has decent sustain and damage, the Tranfusion trait feels awkward to play as it often teleports downed allies to places they don't want to be since Reaper Shroud is melee.

There is something about this build that I can't give it a great rating. It is a good build, but it feels very awkward to play. It feels like this build is not optimizing.

Sustain is below what I expect. There is no speed boost so it has very low mobility.

It is okay, but I wouldn't bring this to competitive play.

Tested it and approved it ! Nothing to change... very good sustain. Just changed Warhorn with dagger offhand.

Overall it's a very versatile build. Has damage, support, sustain, CC, and a bit of boon removal.
