Interestingly enough, this is the first Reaper build I've seen in a while that I'd say is actually vulnerable to conditions. Plague Signet is a great ace in the hole, but that and Staff 4 alone felt like too little against other condition classes. 2 signets also get very low use out of the grandmaster trait. It's an interesting dilemma, since by taking Axe, you need additional life force generation, but it makes you take a meh heal.

Axe got some lovely buffs a few patches ago and I do enjoy using it, but taking the Axe trait, chill availability in this build is fairly low. With only the elite and staff 4 providing chill, Chilling Victory actually provides very little for the build. With Axe pumping out vulnerability, decimate defenses looks pretty good. Death Perception then becomes overkill but you can then take foot in the grave for an additional stunbreaker, which this build desperately needs. Blighter's Boon also synergizes so fantastically with the Spite line that gives might on autoattack and a stability that pulses 11 times that it's tough to argue for Onslaught over it (especially since it also builds lifeforce out of Death Shroud, which this build has trouble with).

Not fond of Nothing Can Save You.

Reaper is super, super strong with Mercenary, so this Axe build needs to do more to warrant running.

There really isn't too much of a point at using Paladin instead of Mercenary in a reaper build imo. The Axe trait in Spite isn't as good as CoD (axe itself is meh compared to other weapons), sigils could use an overhaul, and the signet heal is better because it's broken and goes through dodge/block and ignores LoS.

The concept isn't bad but if you want to make it better you'll get the Mercenary Signet build.

As I wrote in my review of the other Paladin Power build on hereː overall damage is probably lower than a condition Reaper, but it can be useful in specific circumstances (depending on the enemy team composition).

Signets are definitely the way to go when running Spite. The combination allows for high Might stacking, Boon corruption and a lot of versatility.

Some remarksː I'd put "Signet of Vampirism" in as the main healing skill, as it's more standard. I'd also leave open the last utility slot and put in some suggestions like "Summon Flesh Wurm", "Spectral Armor", etc. just like the Signet Chillomancer build does it.

This build is overal pretty solid, and in specific circumstances a useful variant to the Signet Chillomancer. (That said, I'm not sure if we need a complete new build page for it.)

I'm giving this a good rating because of the counters. It is good at what it is suppose to be, but there is too many boon corruption, too many ranged players, too many CC and blinds. Other builds have a way to counter those, but not this one.
