This is an alternative to the Power Hammer build that offers higher damage, better ranged and AOE options, more healing and condition clears while sacrificing minimal survivability.




  • for higher dps at the expense of survivability.
  • for an added condition clear and boons at the expense of stability. (Also takes 0.5 seconds longer to cast)
  • for a higher heal and condition clear that will also knock back nearby foes at the expense of stability.

Much of the usage is the same as the Power Hammer build, with the following additions:

  • AOE pressure with the Mortar Kit. Using orbital strike and dropping the effect AOEs on the point is a nice way to open up in a team fight, then swap to Hammer and use the standard rotation. (Use the Bulwark Gyro for high direct damage/CC fights and Defense field for Ranged Projectile attackers).
  • Elixir Shell from the Mortar Kit (Skill #5) will heal, remove conditions and grant 2 stacks of might. Use this in conjunction with the Purge Gyro Super Elixir (Elixir Gun skill #5) for a decent heal and condi clears, especially when fighting against condition builds.
