This build is really similar to the Sage's Sword build also on the site, so it feels more practical to talk about the differences and why I dislike this one a bit more. I actually initially ran something very similar to this when trying to figure out a build for Tempest, but one of the main things I noticed is that while I could live very easily, my damage was always just a bit short.

Some of these traits certainly trap you into taking them as well. Swift Revenge just begs to be taken with its awesome synergy to Woven Stride/Cleansing water until you realize while playing that there's more than enough cleansing already on low cooldowns. Weaver's Prowess is always active and is a huge boost to damage.

I don't like Superior Elements. The weakness uptime is very low, could easily hit a target you don't want, putting it on CD. Master's Fortitude is a health buff on a class that desperately needs it.

I'm also not fond of the new celestial amulet. Its cumulative stat total is the same as 4-stat amulets. The old one was good because it had 30% more stats than other amulets. At this low stat total, the power/crit stats are very inefficient and could be better put to use on a focused 3-4 stat spread.

Essentially, Weavers' weapon set is very defensive and gives Eles a big survivability bump. This goes overkill on it and wins through attrition when it could make a few changes to win much faster and not be ignored in fights.
