Generic properties used

Is for profession
Applies to all skills. Racial skills and environmental skills will have the value 'Any'.
Is for race
Applies to racial skills only.

Is for elite specialization

Purpose
Identifies the elite specialization this skill belongs to.
Applies to
All elite specialization skills.
Has type
String
Allows values
Tempest, Chronomancer, Reaper, Druid, Scrapper, Daredevil, Dragonhunter, Berserker, Herald.

Has skill context

Purpose
Identifies the context under which the skill is available.
Applies to
All skills.
Has type
String (multi-valued to allow Downed, Drowning)
Allows values
  • Weapon (slots 1 – 5)
  • Healing (slot 6)
  • Utility (slots 7 – 9)
  • Elite (slot 0)
  • Mechanic (slots F1 – F4)
  • Bundle (slots 1 – 5)
  • Secondary — any skill that requires another skill to be activated before it is available (chains, transforms/kits, sequences/toggles, etc.)
  • Aquatic — any skill that is only available underwater
  • Downed
  • Drowning

Has skill type

Purpose
Identify the skill's type(s) as noted in the in-game tooltip.
Applies to
Any skill with one or more types.

Purpose
Identifies the weapon the skill is linked to.

Purpose

Notes
For [[Has skill context::Healing|Elite]], the slot numbers are always 6 and 10, respectively, so this property should not be used.
For [[Has skill context::Utility]], the slot number can be any of 7, 8, or 9, so this property should not be used.

Has parent skill

Purpose
Identifies the primary skill ([[Has skill context::Weapon|Healing|Utility|Elite]]) to which a skill is linked.

Special note
This property will enable any skill to inherit properties from the parent skill if they are not explicitly defined. This applies especially to aquatic skills: since they are identified with the "aquatic" context, they must lookup their actual context from the parent.

Is for attunement

Purpose
Identifies the attunement under which the skill is available.
Applies to
