- Heya, Chase! Just wondering, how much moderation/involvement are you looking for in a WvW admin? Some of the builds posted under meta are simply not meta; do I just go ahead and rectify or is there some sort of screening process involved? Also, how do I get a pretty signature like yours? --Haru (talk) 15:18, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
- As a section admin you should make sure that your section is up to date, especially the meta category. You are free to add/move builds from the meta build as long as those changes are correct. Regarding the signature part, you can do that in Preferences. I might however be wrong as I remember that Chase edited the css files too.--Galaxian (talk) 16:48, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, sounds good. Should we have different meta builds regarding what play style of WvW the user is trying to enter? There is a distinct meta for GvG guilds that is somewhat different from what larger PvX guilds might use. Is this a distinction worth making in the builds or as separate pages altogether? And for the signature, do I just manually enter formatting? If so, where is the guide for adding colors? --Haru (talk) 17:09, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
- I think we should go for general wvw builds. Ones people can just pick up and do well, for organized guild battles (I will never call it gvg for GW1 reasons:P ) guilds are using their own builds anyways (as far as I know) plus they are just a small fragment of WvW players. --

Signatures[edit]
In your preferences you can change your signature. Click "Treat signature as wikitext (without an automatic link)" then in the new signature section put something like this
<span style="color: DarkRed">Dantes</span> (talk)
The first part is the image, the class icons are all ready in the wiki. Race Icons, I think there is only Human (I should upload the others) and you can also use other icons, if it's to large you might have to modify that part to tell the wiki to make it smaller. The second part is link for your name Dantes and the extra part is to change the color.
<span style="color: COLOR">NAME</span>
You can change the color be replacing color with the html name or hex code. You can do the same thing to your talk which is at a basic level talk. It's same as if you are editing on the wiki so you don't have to do it that format. Just don't make it impossible to read and easy acess to the name and talk page is important to for an Admin. For colors an easy list is here on Wikipedia
- This might also help Wikipedia Signatures --

Editing[edit]
If you want to edit the entire page, you can click the edit button on the top right. Could you keep the number of edits a bit lower? :P Currently your edits associated with a build flood the "Recent Changes" menu a bit much which makes it harder to find things, but maybe it's just me. --Hanz(talk) 07:17, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
WvW Feedback[edit]
my best guess would be to ask reddit. if you need help drafting up a letter i'm available for another hour or so on here or skype :) « Chase ♥ ♥ ♥ » 01:39, 18 November 2014 (UTC)
Signature[edit]
Try putting this into your "signature" input box on preferences. Be sure that "Treat signature as wiki text" is checked.

New builds[edit]
Hi Haru! There are some builds with ongoing discussions under Trial/Testing, could you look into that? :) They might need your input. --Hanz(talk) 17:57, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- Ranger Frontline Trapper is my contribution of these. Any thoughts on it Haru senpai? Angela Ranna (talk) 20:51, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
- Hey! Would you mind linking a Gw2skills.net build link so I can look at the skills and durations? --Haru ✯✯✯ 21:50, 14 March 2015 (UTC)
- Here's the base build; I'll put up the power variant in a bit (on my phone so it's slow work). Frontline Trapper. Common variant is to use viper's nest for heal disruption instead of flame trap. Angela Ranna (talk) 03:14, 15 March 2015 (UTC)
- Alrighty, power variant. For this one you can trade the zerk gear for valk to lose about 15% dps and gain 2k health. Angela Ranna (talk) 03:38, 15 March 2015 (UTC)
- Also, be careful - gw2skills doesn't count the duration from trap potency. At 50% condi duration you get 3 seconds of fire or chill per trap tick. Angela Ranna (talk) 04:19, 15 March 2015 (UTC)

Stacking Sigils[edit]
Could you please explain best stacking sigil choice for each zerg build and where it should go if playing in a large group that doesn't die as often as they would in a GvG? I think that would help open the pages up a little bit to the average zerger « Chase ♥ ♥ ♥ » 16:01, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
- Definitely, I'll add them to the builds. It'll almost always be Bloodlust, especially after the Might nerf. You have a niche stacking sigil in Momentum if you're a commander. --Haru ✯✯✯ 16:15, 4 April 2015 (UTC)
Delete[edit]
Please do not delete builds unless they are reposts. :P If something is bad or fell out of use completely, archive it. --Hanz(talk) 06:06, 1 June 2015 (UTC)
Speaking of which, an explanation is always a good way to get something archived/moved « Chase ♥ ♥ ♥ » 13:47, 1 June 2015 (UTC)
Elementalist - Zerg[edit]
You changed the Traits on June 1st, but they appear simply as Traits 2015...no box with the actual traits listed. As I am new, wasn't sure how to fix it. Tried a couple of things, but nothing worked.--Ccrashh (talk) 10:00, 3 June 2015 (UTC)
- Fix'd. The template had "traits 2015" in it which doesn't exist or is reserved for post-specialization patch traits, idk. "Traits 2014" must be used for the current trait tables or else it'll be invalid. --

Discord invite[edit]
Hey, Haru. Would you mind sending me a discord invite link? I left the server by mistake. :/ --Valento (talk) 22:28, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
Roaming Builds[edit]
Hey there, I'd like to add some straightforward wvw roaming builds to the format again. Was wondering if it'll be worth the effort, since last I spoke to Chase there appeared to be some structural difficulties making roaming builds not welcome on the site. Edit, forgot how to do signatures again...--Elemelentalist (talk) 18:45, 10 May 2016 (UTC)
