==Overview==
Heavily offensive <b>Meditation Guardian</b> build, designed for the <b>Stronghold</b> game mode. Works especially good on the <b>Battle of the Champion's Dusk</b> map, where tight paths and small rooms force players to stay near each other. Have strong synergy with the Mist Champion - Turai Ossa. Staying near this champion provides constant Aegis and further benefits, explained in <b>Usage and general advices</b> section. This build can be also used in <b>Conquest</b>

==Usage and general advices==

===Single Combat===
* During the 1v1 fight relay mostly on the <b>sword/torch</b> weapon set. Cooldown of their skills is shorter than the time needed to swap your weapons again to the <b>sword/torch</b> set. 
* Stack {{gw2skill|Swiftness|}} and {{gw2skill|Might}} before the fight if there is time for this.
* {{gw2skill|Zealot's Defense}} is a great offensive ability, but it can be used to destroy incoming projectiles. It is especially useful, while protecting NPCs from a rampaging groups of Tengu Archers on the paths of Champion's Dusk. 
* Always try to initiate the combat with {{gw2skill|Flashing Blade}}. This skill's low cooldown helps with closing the gap between enemies in move. It also applies blind and protects you from a possible knockbacks or opening strikes.
* Stay close to your enemy and keep autoattacking to apply {{gw2skill|Burn}}. Abandon this strategy while confronting classes with low HP pool and the ability to deal powerful critical strikes like <b>Mesmer</b> or <b>Thief</b>. Try to weaken them as much as possible with {{gw2skill|Zealot's Fire}}, {{gw2skill|Cleansing Flame}} and {{gw2skill|Wave of Wrath}} before you jump into melee combat. {{gw2skill|Cleansing Flame}} can also find its use in destroying illusions and weakening Mesmer's ability to shatter. Any other summoned creatures can be easily countered by this skill. Although skill on its own does not apply any {{gw2skill|Burn}} the effect of multiple burns is provided by {{gw2skill|Virtue of Justice}} and {{gw2trait|-|Permeating Wrath}}.
* After swapping your weapon to <b>staff</b>, your next 3 attacks will have 100% chance to critically hit and to trigger the effect of {{gw2sigil|Superior Sigil of Fire}}. Take this opportunity and critically strike the enemy with {{gw2skill|Orb of Light}}, which has much higher base damage than {{gw2skill|Wave of Wrath}}. Be careful though. It is easy to waste {{gw2sigil|Superior Sigil of Intelligence}} by attacking the enemy, who is invulnerable, blocking or when the 9 second cooldown on sigil passes. 
* You can use {{gw2skill|Shelter}} to block incomming burst damage. Apply burning to enemies with {{gw2trait|-|Amplified Wrath}}, {{gw2rune|Superior Rune of the Guardian}} and grant to yourself 2 stacks of {{gw2skill|Might}} for each successfully blocked attack with {{gw2trait|-|Might of the Protector}}. When channeling ends you also damage nearby foes, gain 4 seconds of {{gw2skill|Fury}} and smite one of your conditions. Take the advantage by returning to fight stronger than ever before.
