This build looses a lot of heal and damage buffs compared to a druid and does not even do much more damage than a condi druid on most encounters. Either you go for a druid, if you want the offensive support, or for staff heal tempest, if you need really hard healing. This build gives neither.

This build is only effective if you roam world bosses for fun times. Druid healer adds 10% dps to the team and does a good deal of dmg himself on top of that. You may try this for Vale guardian but only if you have a descent group. If you enjoy Ele, I suggest Staff DPS, if healing then ranger Druid. Otherwise this is an inferior dirt build

Cant solo heal, and is a total waste of a party slot if you also have to bring a druid. The dps is downright trashtier and you have no control over who gets healed on any of your auras. Really confused at why this build is even listed as meta...

After druid the second best healer for raids. His Dps is higher than the dps of the druid but the druid has more partywide offensive support (spotter, spirits, grace of land and glyphof empowerment) whereas the tempest has more defensive party support like forstaura and protection. if u need a second healer this build is the way to go

Works great in combination with a Condi Druid and still has decent DPS while maintaining permanent Frost Aura.

This build is basically the way to go if you dont have a druid. Of Course it can't bring the buffs a druid offers, but you can keep up fury and regen as well as some protection together with strong heals while doing decent damage.

No longer a good build for any content. As a DPS healer, both its damage contribution and healing capability are far inferior to the druid. Even a Magi's druid will contribute more DPS through buffs alone and you'll get far more healing. If you want a healer that can dish out some decent damage, the condi and zerk druids are far better choices.

Great healing and support build that still has decent personal DPS. The only downfall, however, is that a Druid healer seems to be preferred in most cases, providing heals that are just as potent while simultaneously offering substantial party-wide offensive buffs that a tempest healer simply cannot match. As such, although the auramancer is fantastic in the healing role, it is many times an inferior choice to its main competitor, the druid.

Been using this build for a week now without the suggested sigils and love it. Opted to use Sigil of Water and Accuracy for the time being. Could only image it with Sigil of Transference and Concentration. The build has powerful healing capabilities while providing great dps. Rebound is amazing for providing heavy heals or preventing wipes. The -40% protection makes a big difference for tanks with low toughness and/or defense utilities.

Permanent -40% protection as well as high upkeep of -10% frost auras makes the whole team much more durable. On top of that permanent regen as well as vigor, good personal damage and great sustained healing without any downtime puts this in it's Great slot.

Great build with good updates. If I may suggest something, is maybe propose a variante by switching a shout (i.e. "aftershock!" for the short range) by the Ice bow. It enables to keep the long rang if necessary. It keeps a good DPS (frost fan, ice storm abilities; percing shard masterie) by staying in the water stance and also can heal (soothing mist, water arrow...) , apply CC (deep freeze) and some conditions.
