All in all it has good/okey-ish damage compared to staff, but you loose a lot of mobility. Furthermore this build is by far worse than the staff build in some encounters, because the boss changes his direction randomly every few seconds, by what you will loose a lot of damage if your backstab. All in all I see no reason to play this build instead of the staff build.

Basically same Dmg as the Staff WC rotation. Gives you room for 1 utility if needed. Rotation difficulty of this build and the Staff WC is around the same. Personal preference decides here. For lazy ppl: Staff auto with a dps loss of 2-3k.

Slightly higher damage then the staff build (against training golems) but: harder rotation, less survivability, you lose dps when you dodge, less AoE, less mobility. Your going to have to invest a significant amount of time perfecting your play to get more out of this build then staff.

It's a great DPS build, but not more. You still need at least 2 ele in raid, because this build is lagging in aoe -> sab/sloth. But for it's function: just dealing singletarget dps, its the best build at the moment! Also because the rotation is very simple, in critical moments, this build doesn't loose much dps.

Good for VG, Xera. Staff is probably better for most other fights because of extra cleaves, mobility, and reveal.

Basically another competitive DPS option for baseline Thief. Possesses lower sustain options than other staff builds but can exceed their damage.

I tested this vs DD raid build as soon as the patch went live and with all buffs and optimal food the DPS of the dagger/dagger thief build was a steady 34.7-35k through all four readings on the 4 mill hp golem. The DD staff build was only around 31-32k on all four readings with the same food and buffs.
