Infiltrator Leveling Build
- High AOE DPS
- Fun to Play
- Good Mobility
- Squishy
- Mana Hungry
Overview
This Infiltrator Leveling Build's main focus is building up high SP (Spell Power) to boost the damage done by Mine Throw and
Carpet Bombing in order to deal high AOE damage to groups of mobs and have an easy time leveling once you are out of the first 10 levels and grinding mobs becomes more time efficient than running back and forth doing quests.
Skill Bar

Camouflage: More so an utiltiy skill than anything else, it allows you to become invisible and avoid mobs that way. However, there is also the other side of the skill which empowers your auto-attacks instead whenever you are in combat and you use the skill.
Mine Throw: This is the main damaging skill of the build that you should max out first. It has two charges and it plants a mine onto the ground, after a second, the bomb activates and any mob walking over (or being lured into) will take high damage and also bleed for some extra damage. However, you can also use
Mine Throw directly on top of mobs and it will explode immediately but won't apply the bleed dot damage.
Carpet Bombing: This is the secondary damaging skill as it does AOE damage and roots enemies in place making it easier to control the mobs and set up your
Mine Throw.
Street Violence: While this skill doesn't do much damage as the build lacks AP (attack power), it can still be used to finish off enemies. The most important part is that
Street Violence executes targets when they are low HP. The percentage of HP needed for the skill to execute is based on Spell Power, which means more Spell Power will increase the percentage treshold.
Assassin's Edge: This skill allows you to throw two daggers and deal damage from a distance. While the damage is quite low on a SP build, it can still be useful for luring mobs into
Mine Throw. Similarly to how
Street Violence works,
Assassin's Edge does more damage based on how much missing health the mob has.
Mana Boost: Crucial for leveling and sustaining your mana, especially with how much mana you need when playing Infiltrator. Use it whenever it’s off cooldown, especially when running low. Managed well, it can keep you going for long periods without needing consumables.
Heal: Equally valuable, this skill is perfect for leveling and can save you in situations where you’re taking heavy damage.
Equipment

Runes: Vigor and
Wind are excellent choices for leveling and improving spellpower throughout the leveling process. They provide a stacking spell power increasing buff and add extra damage tick on a low cooldown. Upgrading to
Intensity or
Cold Wind isn’t necessary, though you can pick them up if they drop for you or come up at a good price on the marketplace.
Gear: Magic Circle and
Matter Shaker are both strong options for leveling. While
Matter Shaker can be hard to get early, it becomes easier to find as you progress and you can find cheap good roll ones on the marketplace too. Until then, equipping a full set of
Magic Circle is a great way to maximize spellpower and increase damage. Once you can afford it and get to level 10, start looking for good deals on
Matter Shaker and a
Psionic Backpack.
Consumables: Bread &
Sweet Baked Pumpkin are perfect for maintaining good passive mana and health regen throughout the leveling process while
Magic Pills help with your DPS and
Mana Pipe adds even more passive mana regen.
Talents

Mastery

With the max level currently being 20, it is unrealistic to assume anyone would have much more than 15 weapon mastery before or at fresh level 20. If, for some reason you have more than that, consult the PVE Ranger Build for more.
Rotations

This is a very straight forward rotation. Start by using Mine Throw to set up a mine onto the ground before using
Assassin's Edge to pull the mobs onto it once its active. Follow up with
Carpet Bombing and another
Assassin's Edge hit before using
Mine Throw again and luring the mobs into it once more. Use
Street Violence to finish off the mobs that are still alive.
