Legionary Leveling Build
- Very Tanky
- Good AOE
- Easy to Play
- Solo Friendly
- Low Damage
- Low Range
Overview
This Legionary Leveling Build focuses on boosting AP (attack power) to offset the class’s naturally low damage. While the Legionary can put out decent numbers, it doesn’t compare to true DPS classes, making mob farming slower and more difficult. Instead, leveling is more efficient through fetch quests, allowing you to progress without the struggle of clearing large camps.
Skill Bar

Shield Bash: This is a solid AOE damaging skill to use even though it has a low range doing good damage to all mobs caught in the AOE.
Shield Bash also interrupts spellcasting, capable of stopping enemies from channeling any spell that would otherwise do a lot of damage.
Catapult: This skill automatically throws either an ally or an enemy thats next to you to wherever you point your cursor. Once the enemy/ally lands, it does damage to all enemies hit by the thrown ally/enemy. Allies take no damage when using this skill on them, so feel free to throw your friends at enemies to deal damage.
Spear Throw: Being the highest damaging skill in your toolkit, the
Spear Throw can be channeled to increase the damage done before the spear is through and deals damage to all enemies it passes through.
Unstoppable: Use this skill to remove all CC when needed and also gain movement speed. Killing enemies while
Unstoppable is active also restores missing HP.
Iron Skin: Akin to the Defender passive, this is a pure passive Special Ability. Every hit on an enemy will stack up 1 charge of
Iron Skin, increasing your armor and magic resistance. Once 10 stacks are reached, you also gain more Attack Power.
Mana Boost: A core skill for leveling—use it whenever it’s available and you need mana. Simple but invaluable for keeping your resources up.
Heal: Just as useful as
Mana Boost, this skill is excellent for leveling and can save you from sticky situations, preventing deaths and long corpse runs.
Equipment

Runes: Lamprey and
Scar are excellent for farming, providing an AP buff and extra damage. Upgrading to
Mantis or
Jagged Scar isn’t necessary, though you can pick them up if they drop or show up cheap on the marketplace.
Gear: Steroid Implant and
Battle Sleeve are strong choices for leveling.
Battle Sleeve can be hard to obtain early, but it becomes more common as you progress. Until then, a full set of
Steroid Implant is a great way to maximize damage and offset the naturally lower damage output of a tank class like the Legionary. Make sure to also fit an
Atomic Breastplate as it helps with tanking mobs but also increases your damage thanks to the fact
Shield Bash also scales with 50% of your armor.
Consumables: Use Bread with
Sweet Baked Pumpkin for steady HP and mana recovery. For extra stats,
Biosteroids Shot boosts AP, while
Small Joint raises crit chance. Once you hit level 10, upgrade to
Double Biosteroids Shot and
Strong Joint for even better damage delivery.
Talents

Mastery

With the max level currently being 20, it is unrealistic to assume anyone would have more than 15 weapon mastery before or at fresh level 20. If, for some reason you have more than that, consult the PVE Destroyer Build for more.
Rotations

This is a very easy rotation. Begin by luring the mobs together while channeling the full channel of Spear Throw to deal high damage. Continue by using
Catapult to throw the nearest mob and make sure to land it on top of as many enemies as possible. Finish the rotation with
Shield Bash to finish off the targets.
