Tethren Melee Courage Build
- High Single Target DPS
- Great Buffs
- High Burst Damage
- Great for Bossfights
- Low Mobility
- Boring to play
Overview
This Tethren build makes use of its buffs:
Fellust and
Call of the Ancients while stacking up
Courage to deal high damage when using the
Gathannan (with
Verite Blessed by Mora) to deal incredible damage to single targets and even small groups of enemies thanks to Polearm's reach.
Virtues

Tethren damage buffs scale directly with
Courage, increasing as your Courage goes up. The pact mainly provides buffs and can feel a bit plain, but
Clash also scales its damage with
Courage.
Grace is also alright if you can get 10 points into it when testing out
Grace weapons.
Skills

Fellust – One of your two buffs. Increases your damage and offers an incredible boost to your melee attacks, allowing you to kill mobs in only a few swings.
Call of the Ancients – Taunts all nearby enemies, making them attack you, while also boosting your damage and halving the damage taken, allowing you to taunt and keep aggro on a few mobs at once.
Clash – While this doesn't do all that much damage,
Clash is nice for its CC, staggering enemies and forcing them off you. Keep in mind however that it has a long animation and can be tricky to use in time before enemies hit you.
Tethren Upgrades
Upgrade Conquerer,
Mora's Pride, and
Akin as soon as possible.
Conquerer heals you when you kill enemies,
Mora's Pride gives a flat Courage boost, and
Akin increases cooldown speed to reduce your ability cooldowns.
Equipment

Joineries
To make this build work, you have to find and use a Verite Blessed by Mora which changes the Spirit virtue of the
Gathannan into Courage, boosting its damage while also allowing it to scale with Courage. An alternative would also be to use
Duhk Halic until you get a Joinery Blessed by Mora.
