Overview

Condi Bannerslave (also known as Banner Support or BS) is a very powerful offensive support that provides its party with the unique damage buffs
and
. It also provides
, strong CC, and very high personal DPS for a support build.
Due to the raw power of banners, one bannerslave is standard in every fractal group. However, Warrior - Power Bannerslave (Fractal) or Spellbreaker - Power Boonstrip Bannerslave (Fractal) are more commonly because they have better CC and burst damage. Nonetheless Condi Bannerslave is still viable in fractals, and will deal higher sustained boss DPS in unoptimized parties.
This guide is focused on fractals. For the raid version see Berserker - Condi Bannerslave.

Specializations

Discipline Variant

Discipline is worth running instead of Tactics if your party is mostly condition DPS that don't benefit much from
. This provides higher personal DPS.

Phalanx Strength Variant

If you need to provide 25 might to your party by yourself, take
, replace runes with
, and replace
with
. This is a big DPS loss and should only be used in groups with no other source of might.

Variants

Runes

  • very minor dps difference. If you already have a set with them, upgrading to

Infusions

  • If you want to maximize your damage you can gain approximately 4% extra dps by using infusions that provide +5 condition damage, such as Malign +9 Agony Infusions, however this is only a small damage increase for what can be a very large gold cost.

While not optimal for speed clearing CMs due to its low burst damage, banners are still absurdly strong, and Condi Bannerslave has more than enough time to ramp up its damage and pull its weight in casual fractal clears
