This build works by sharing boons using
. It can be used either in a regular party or in a party with only other mesmers.

Boons have a maximum of 9 stacks that can be applied at once (Protection, Quickness, Regeneration, Resistance, Retaliation, and Vigor have a cap of 5 stacks).

Boonshare rotation:

This rotation is to be used by either two or three mesmers in a party with no other players, all mesmers must be running 100% boon duration for maximum effectiveness. Start this rotation while away from combat. The second mesmer should start the rotation about 10s after the first has finished. Maintain boon stacks with

    is one of your key skills. You can Immobilize Immobilize the target so he can't dodge your burst - the shorter version is simply using the Swap Blurred Frenzy Mind Wrack combo. But you can also switch weapons after the Immob to Greatsword and land a much more significant burst.

Greatsword burst:

A strong build- essential to modern GvGs. Good use of the CC and continuum split can devastate unorganised groups- and be one of the biggest causes of downs in a close even fight. The sharing of the boons with such high boon duration creates sustained, hard hitting frontlines which has changed the face of WvW. Although you do not need a boonshare mesmer, they are extremely powerful in groups that struggle maintaining boon uptime and good players can find slots amongst even the best guilds.

A very good build for mesmer, allowing an unique play for a class that is otherwise great only in single target focus. This build requires a specific party composition but can bring great support to it.
