This build deserves a better rating. a really awesome solo build, compared to the other Sword/x Phantasms build this is just as good for openworld content and using GS means u can kill things at range effectively aswell. Its very bursty and with the right combination of abilitys its also easy to manage, i use Phantasmal Defender, Phantasmal Disenchanter and Well of calamity with this build and i can solo most champs in openworld with ease even HoT. this is without a doubt my favorite openworld build for mesmer right now 5/5

A solid solo build. The initial burst is more than enough to clear out most veterans. While longer fights are more difficult, you can maintain damage by rotating out to S/S from Great-sword. This build does require defense mastery. If you are unable to dodge or kite well, you will spend large amounts of time in a downed state. Core Tyria 5/5 HoT 2/5 Pof 4/5

This build has good burst damage for farming and has the ability to fight from range with Greatsword. However, it has poor sustained damage, which makes it non-ideal for soloing more difficult fights. Its personal sustain is also pretty poor.

This build overvalues Imagined Burden. Imagined Burdened Phantasmal Berserker deals less damage than Phantasmal Forced Phantasmal Swordsman.

An extremely fun build. Between Imagined Burden, Chronophantasma, Signet of the Ether, and Continuum Split, you can end up with a load of Phantasmal Bersekers bursting something down, which is an extremely satisfying sight, meaning this build is extremely effect at bursting down most enemies, while also being easy enough to use. However, on longer fights, such as HoT/PoF champions, it suffers - your burst is very much packed together, and the longer a fight is the more likely it is you'll struggle. However, because of Mesmer's nature, it does have tools to help with that such as Diversion and Distortion and Blurred Frenzy, all of which can help survivability.
