I understand the desire for build diversity in the ele community, and I'm sad that this is the case, but waiting for expansion 2 and hoping for the best is all you can do.

I've had the pleasure to play with and against condi eles, and honestly they 100% deserve to be reported for griefing. Whichever team has one of these is going to be fighting a 4v5. Engi, warrior and druid will passively outregen anything you can throw at them, and most builds will delete condi ele from the map the moment they look in its general direction.

The build shines, but only on three conditions: teamfights, smaller ponts (unlike Legacy of Foefire's midpoint), and minimal self-focus. Because there is no Lightning Flash, mobility is a little hampered, and escaping may prove to be tricky under sticky scenarios. Additionally, enemies will clean their conditions off regularly. However, what saves this build from being downright poor are the overloads and Glyph of Elemental Power (GoEP). Overloads are fairly decent-in-length PBAoE's that can be devastating over points and downed enemies especially the fire overload. The recent buff in the GoEP has made it viable, allowing for any attack to deal a certain condition. I like how the GoEP carries the attunement it was activated on no matter what attunement you will switch to (Air GoEP is still air GoEP in fire, water, or earth attunement). This allows for increased condition spread, making it more difficult to clean off damaging conditions such as burn or bleed. Tempest replaces the Fresh Air build's Arcane sustain, although Tempest doesn't heal as much as Evasive Arcana's water dodge. Good build, but with fast ways to apply excess condition variants and with more sustain, the build could just have become a meta.

It's a very fun build to play. It does a lot of damage, but you die really fast. It's the best ele condi build out there and is about as effective as the current fresh air build.
