  • This build relies on teammates/cooperation/terrain heavily, it's very very bad for flat ground 1v1 situation.
  • This build is good vs short ranged, no immunity class like Necromancer (especially scourge) and Mesmer, bad vs long ranged, immunity class, like Warrior and Ranger.
  • Combos are most based on , , and .
  • The core for the combos to work is switching Attunement while casting, if not fast enough, the combos won't hit .

OneShot combo

  1. Start with
  2. Cast on enemy's path ( Stun to trigger Can't find such trait "Tempest Defense"! Please refer to our trait index ).
  3. While casting, switch to
  4. Cast on top of the circle.
  5. While casting, switch to
  6. Cast at the feet of the enemy.
  7. Cast and and at the same time. (Trigger )

These could be done within 3 seconds, and hit about 20k~30k on heavy armor (with no Protection) within 1 second. It can knock down an entire enemy group instantly if they're unaware.

  5. Cast on top of the circle.
  6. While casting, switch to
  7. Cast at the feet of the enemy.

This combo has lower burst damage, in exchange with more overall damage and crowd controls. It can force enemy to use dodge and defensive ability to break stun/frozen/immobilize, and eventually be knocked back/rooted.

Defensive combo

  1. Start with .
  2. Cast .
  3. Switch to .
  4. Run away, cast if low on health or hit by conditions,
  5. Cast or while running for Blindness.()
  6. Switch to , cast or for Immobilize.()
  7. Cast to block the path.
  8. Cast .

  12. Cast if low on health, or for conditions. (Both combine with and ).

Other notes

  • It's good to focus the easiest target ( like Condition Scourge ) with teammates and knock it down , then do combo on anyone who's about to help , they will die really fast without dodging.
  • When stunned, the Can't find such trait "Tempest Defense"! Please refer to our trait index should also stun the one who attacked you. This is a very good chance to hit it with or (they can be cast while stunned), especially with Thief.
  • can be used to break control, and the blindness is very good to prevent the control from hitting. ( so is Air Attunement Arcane), especially when finishing someone down on the ground.
  • All ground-pointing skills don't require facing, they can be cast back-sided while running away.
  • Even a half combo can knock down average build enemy with 60%-70% health instantly (if timed right). So let the teammates fight first.
  • This build draws a lot of attentions, could get entire enemy team hunting you. It sometime also gets the teammates to hate you (case you die really fast.)

This build will die instantly. like no lightning flash or any other gap openers, while only having one stunbreak . no active damage migitation for an low hp and low armour class. the 11k hp wile having acces to decent condi cleanse is entirely situational. the moment u use your heal to recover from damage. the rest u got for cleanses is cleansing ire.

nice at attempt at bring staff ele back, me playing staff itself but u really, really, need to be increibly good to make it work regardless of how well you succeed in making a build.
