Overview

A PvP Mirage build focused on contesting and holding side nodes, as well as being able to win duels against most opponents. Excellent at condition removal, healing and making use of ambush attacks due to the large amount of dodges.

Usage

General

  • Do not charge your mantra heal () before entering combat, as this will provide a large heal when proced.
  • Subsequent mantra heals () will restore half of your endurance due to

    , when activated every 10 seconds. This mantra heal also provides a condition cleanse, which can be followed up with an ambush attack, due to the regained endurance.
  • It is vital when using this build to land all of your self shatters to rack up damage.
  • This build has a huge amount of condition cleanse: each heal (), shatter () and dodge () will remove 1 condition, allowing the user to dominate duels against other mesmers focused on Confusion Damage. will transfer 3 conditions; and will removal 1.
  • The quickness from can be used to speed up the charge of , allowing for a very quick and large heal.
  • If a larger heal is required, double proc your heal skill to initially charge , and then auto-cast .
  • Vigor (), regeneration () and protection () upkeep should be micromanaged carefully.

Not enough damage to make much of an impact, and not enough sustain to outlast other duelists. Got nerfed in the latest patch.

Very versatile Mirage build. The user of this build can comfortably hold against 2 opponents, and dominate 1v1s. Very mobile due to Portal Entre and Mirage Thrust. A huge amount of cleanse, heals and evades makes for prolonging fights on nodes and countering most builds in the current meta. This build doesn't dish out as much pure condition damage as the meta Carrion Ineptitude build, but can slowly bring opponents down, whilst having a much large survival potential.
