Fast and fun build with almost 100% crit and quickness uptime while in shroud, and you can usually stay in Shroud 100% of the fight if not taking too much damage. DPS during testing was about 4.5K single target. Full Diviners gear. I went with staff and Elite pet for defiance bar breakers and good life force generation, but this build is not reliant on weapon choice. Doom has a shorter cooldown than the sigil so you have to go off the quickness timer to time the recast instead of when Doom comes off of cooldown. Spectral grasp to stack opening and a great life force generator. I went with Blood Magic for the added personal/group DPS from Vampiric Presence and better rez (since we are often one of the last few standing), but again not critical to the build. The barrier also helps to keep me in shroud longer. With Dread talent plus sigil of celerity you get over 19 sec of quickness and fury every time you hit Doom, on a 20 sec CD from the sigil. Haste ramps up vulnerability stacks from Unyielding blast quickly. Reapers might + high boon duration + haste quickly generates and maintains 25 might stacks.

  • I typically open with mark of blood at my location and then Spectral Grasp enemies into it, Reapers Mark to initiate haste/crit buffs (and not take dmg), followed by Shroud, then vary between dark path/life transfer/tainted shackles depending on the situation. After that, every 20 sec hit Doom to maintain buffs.


  • Weakness is no stability/stun break. Highly susceptible to CC.
