This is not a duplicate and works in practice very differently from normal power/dagger build. It is someways much more a support/dps build. Absorbing the conditions of your party during fractals/dungeons and then passing them back onto bosses, other mobs etc. Extremely potent plus the healing effect of ds 4 can turn the tide of nasty semi-wipe. Shouldn't be trashed at all based on so few reports - especially as it seems the two negatives haven't played it but have dismissed based on numbers/history etc.

It would work well in place of the old condinecro for doing wurm tasks roles too.

What Scootts said. Additionally there is no use for boonstripping in pve right now. Condis suprisingly aren't the strength of necros

Edit: ok then let's elaborate:

  • Necromancers only do a bit of bleeding thus the dps is abysmal

  • boonstripping is useless in dungeons right now

  • might is provided by the phalanx warrior or the ele or the engi making a self sustained might setup bad

  • this also makes aristocracy runes bad. nightmare or krait would be way better

  • this also makes the sigils bad. condi duration or bleed stacking sigils would be way better

  • Transferring condis on yourself is harmful since this build has no resistance and because the condis thrown to the enemy have a very low duration. Removing or converting them would be better

  • Equippement is a strange mixture of berserker and sinister gear

  • Buildpage is still quite incomplete

  • Or to sum it up: Condition Necromancers builds ar very bad right now. Thus Power Dagger builds are way better.

There is literally no reason to use this build over a zerk/dagger build. You can modify the zerk/dagger builds to gain just as much solo might and put out a significant more amount of dps. You can even modify the zerk/dagger builds to get more survivability with a deathshroud build. This build has no advantages over any other build and is purely cosmetic for people who like conditions.

I love this build. I use it all the time on my Necromancer. It works greats in dungeons and in PvE. The might stacks that you get last for a long time and raise your power over 2500 easily.
