Vampiric Aura is a strong group support buff and with this build you have it without gimping your DPS (condi necros). High survivability (especially if running valk variant). Average DPS is sitting just below hammer guardian, however it's important to note that you get a huge DPS increase when the boss is below 50%. After trying this build out in raids for the past few weeks I've upped my vote due to how much more important the second 50% of the bosses healthbar is over the first half. Still shit for no-glide gorseval though.

Overall good ideas and okay damage, but it's a bit overrated right now.

Damage is unfortunately mediocre and the group buffs aren't good enough to justify the damage loss. For Raids the condition reaper build is clearly the better choice.

Started great but quickly became outclassed by the viper necro build in terms of damage.

I tried a bit around with it and I can't rate it better than good. The damage isn't complete garbage but it is still pretty low compared to other classes and Vampiric Aura won't help you much to increase it. Fully buffed but without GotL and Frostpirit, I had ~15k dps. So with this stuff it will be a bit higher ~2k dps prolly. But this will still not as good as other stuff.

A build that will allow the Reaper to output acceptable damage and increase group survivability. Having one in the party can therefore be beneficial some of the time, and spectacular chill and cripple uptime along with a multitude of hard CC's allow for good bar breaking and snaring. However, offensive support is rather limited despite its admitted presence, and personal DPS is not the best. In groups that may struggle with the harsh DPS checks in raids, the relatively low damage of reaper may become a liability. Regardless, this is the best option that a power reaper can run, and DPS is still competitive enough. The main weakness is just that as a DPS role, most notably Heralds will completely outclass the Reaper. A bit of boon corruption is an added bonus for this build. Therefore, I give it a "good".
