Usage

Damage

  • Scourge is very straightforward to deal damage with, just maintain 2 shades at all times and press your skills off cooldown. You don't have to weapon swap unless you need skills from Dagger.
  • Your shade skills also hit in melee range around you, so you don't need to be conservative with shade placement. Spread your shades out to cover as much ground as possible.
  • Use
    before
    to proc
    .
  • Use either
    or

Sustain

    , and
can be used to cleanse conditions.

  • If you go down just use
    to get back up.

This build has great sustained damage and survivability while also fighting from range, allowing it to effortlessly kite around enemies and outlast them with Parasitic Contagion. Its main drawback is that, like other condition builds, it has poor burst damage for farming trash mobs.

An excellent build for open world, that despite being condition damage, is capable of good damage while having a lot of in-baked utility due to the very nature of Scourge. You have condi cleanse, CC, some excellent area damage only furthered by Epidemic, stun break, and a very rare asset in barrier. Probably the best build for Necro without relying on minions in open world.
