Because of Elementalist's excellent use of every stat in the game, Celestial stat icon.png Celestial gear is perfect.

I was a bit reluctant trying to go full cele even after the update, as cutting out on much power and condition damage didn't make sense to me (ex: why not just go for viper ?!). However, switching tempest to cele works so much better in so many ways! Being a light armor low hp class, it's hard to neglect defense stats. With cele, you can pretty much join any squad or solo the Open world as you please with ease. Never looking back at viper or marauder again. This is where the fun of being a Tempest at!

Its like tempest became tempester. Cele tempest has great sustain, both via reasonable health and very good self healing, its innate ability to preform hybrid DPS allows it to preform well in virtually any situation, has nice AOE via its overloads and can take quite a bit of punishment before going down, if you go down at all. Overall, very nice hybrid build that plays perfectly to the tempests strengths. 5/5

Elementalist and the new celestial are a better match than dough and tomato sauce.
