Overview

This build provides up to 10 players with the unique damage buffs Banner of Strength.png Banner of Strength and Banner of Discipline.png Banner of Discipline. It also provides Empower Allies.png Empower Allies, strong CC, and very high burst DPS for a support build. Due to the raw power of its damage buffs one bannerslave is standard in every raid group.
This build focuses on burst damage and excels in short fights. For a condition build with higher sustained damage, see Berserker - Condi Bannerslave. For a variant with boonstrip but mediocre damage, see Spellbreaker - Power Boonstrip Bannerslave.
This guide is focused on raids. For the fractal version see Warrior - Power Bannerslave (Fractal).

Warrior will be meta until banners are removed from the game. Best in slot on KC and other burst damage centric bosses.

Butterpeanut gave this build 5 stars September 2018

Update A/A rotation opener. 5/5 rating after the rating reset due to new standards. This build is meta on a handful of bosses and good on the rest.

Screaming gave this build 5 stars July 2018

A very simple build, easy to not only play but play well. with good effectiveness and very much desired in many groups that also happens to do some solid DPS and CC when needed.

Troupe gave this build 5 stars March 2018

After all these years, Base warrior has made a comeback, proving the superior provider of banners and empower allies in encounters where the slow ramp up of conditions makes the condi berserker alternative to this weak.
