Equipment Variants
Keeping the (group) sustain theme of the build there is little varation:
- Sage amulet should not be changed since it is the only amulet left with condi damage and healing power
Superior Rune of the Tempest
Superior Rune of the Tempest (1): +8 to All Stats (2): +5% Condition Duration (3): +12 to All Stats (4): +10% Condition Duration (5): +16 to All Stats (6): Heal nearby allies when you break a stun (radius 360).
also goes with the sustain theme due to the ~1.5k AoE (360) heal to yourself and allies, the condition duration is a nice damage push for the otherwise short burn duration
However other viable condi build options include:
- Amulets
Mercenary's Amulet
Mercenary's Amulet +1050 Power +560 Toughness +560 Vitality +1050 Condition Damage
Carrion Amulet

Usage
- offensively the build focusses on single target pressure via burst skills and hard CC, check for stability or blocks and open with
Head Butt 20
Head Butt
into
Berserk 15
Berserk
(which breaks the head butt selfstun due to
Savage Instinct) and Primal Burst
- your other biggest damage source is
Final Thrust ¾
15
Final Thrust
on targets below 50% health right after weapon swap to make it a garanteed crit with
Superior Sigil of Intelligence 9
Superior Sigil of Intelligence Your next three attacks after swapping to this weapon while in combat has a 100% critical chance. (Cooldown: 9s)
- defensively sustain yourself and your team with shouts (~ 1.5k heal in 600 AoE) and continuesly breaking stuns (~ 3k selfheal with
Rousing Resilience and ~1.5k heal in 360 AoE with
Superior Rune of the Tempest
Superior Rune of the Tempest (1): +8 to All Stats (2): +5% Condition Duration (3): +12 to All Stats (4): +10% Condition Duration (5): +16 to All Stats (6): Heal nearby allies when you break a stun (radius 360).
)
- breaking a stun with
"Shake It Off!" 25
"Shake It Off!"
will heal yourself for almost 6k health, 3k of that is AoE
- the build has four stunbreaks on very low cooldown:
Berserk 15
Berserk
(with
Savage Instinct) ⇒ 15s
Head Butt 20
Head Butt
⇒ 20s
"Shake It Off!" 25
"Shake It Off!"
⇒ 20s
Outrage 10
Outrage
Rage. Break out of stun and gain adrenaline for each foe near you.
⇒ 10s
- while you somewhat rely on external hard CC you can use
Head Butt 20
Head Butt
to stun yourself (only if you hit something)
- look out for control effects like
Slick Shoes 45
Slick Shoes
or ground targeted walls/rings that block movement, it can make sense to actively run into them for a stunbreak heal
- use swords
Savage Leap ¾
8
Savage Leap
and warhorn skills to roam fast and also disengage/cleanse conditions when neccessary
Head Butt 20
Head Butt
can be canceled via weapon swap which sets it on a 3 second cooldown and can be used to travel across the map faster
Counters
- soft CC ⇒ prevents the build from stunbreaking which is the main source of sustain
- stability ⇒ immune to various forms of hard cc the build offers
Tempest+Sage might have niche usage when paired with the listed-elsewhere Ragezerker build, but Tactics and Warhorn (even with recent buffs) gut too much of condition Warrior's offensive potential.
