Warrior - Xeric's Merciless Berserker
Note: Please note that builds will default to plain icons, these may not be as accurate. We apologize for the inconvenience.
This is build is designed to be unstoppable, and relentless, coupled with having high stopping power to your enemies. It is equipped with decent condi clear, as well as a heal that can convert damage into healing, including condi damage incase you run out of cleanse. The goal for this build is to constantly press your target with CC, and high damage, whilst being able to break out of CC, and surprise strong enemies with unyielding aggression, speed, and tenacity.
Warriors fall, elementalists fall, revenants fall but can be an even match, rangers fall, necromancers fall if you stand your ground, properly mitigate shroud, and time your condi cleanse, as well as healing, thieves fall, guardians fall, engineers including holo fall, and most mesmers generally fall to the pressure of this build.
Few will be able to stand against you if you master the combinations, and pressure this build can put on your enemies. It has multiple combos, and a high skill ceiling, and it takes practice as well as learning...so get into character when your breaking people's necks out there.
- incase you feel like being even less stoppable at the cost of an evade, a long stun, and a gap closer...results may vary.
Weapons Rifle over Greatsword - Rifle is a complete game changer when using this build. High damage coupled with being hard to CC, and having lots of CC makes it easy for you to range enemies with annoying AOE. when they get close, switch to your mace, and axe, to punish them.
- 1 The goal of this build is to CC your enemy and drop high damage whilst they are CC'd. Stuns do not last long nowadays especially with all the stun breaks, and this is why you combo your stuns into a chain, pressing damage between them. You have a incredible movement, and gap closers, with your mace's, , , and , and the movement speed from , you are looking at catching or outrunning most enemies.
- 2 if you are stunned, you have 3 stun breaks available, two of which are on a synchronized cooldown so use wisely. when you are stunned, your enemy feels they have a chance at harming you, break out, and CC them, or land a powerful attack on them whilst they are complacent.
- 3 here is an example of a strong combination. , , , , , , , switch weapons, , , , . This is a basic combination.
Dealing With Conditions
is a given when clearing condi, but it is also a stun break. Wait until the enemy has applied a full burst of condi to you before you use it to clear out all the damage. Switching weapons can remove 1 to 2 conditions as well, and if it comes down to it, and you run out of clear for a moment will be handy in holding you over, and healing you to basically full when you run out of counter play for aids.
Evasive staff Thieves, Condi Mirage, and Dead eyes in general are the toughest matchups for you WHILE using Great word. you may switch to rifle to even the odds for dealing with being too far away to melee, or having too many things to mitigate at close range.
(if you have anything to add...go for it...I am not especially good at posting things on metabattle. add information to this if you see fit)
