Meta Zerg Builds

20 man Hammerway comp[edit]

Would it be wise to start working on a 20man composition based around the hammer train?

What do you mean exactly? --Necromancer Icon Color.pngHanz(talk) 16:56, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
I meant something with a similar format as this http://gwpvx.gamepedia.com/User:Sewa/Sandbox/GvG_Dervway . Of course we would have to replace those builds and classes with something that would be more appropriate for WvW zerg busting.I figured it would be helpful or at least relevant since a lot of WvW guilds use some variation of hammer train composition for zerging. I've been thinking about making Team pages, but the problem is that in GW2 you have a ton more stuff that you must include, even with 5 it's a page of extreme length. With 20, it's even longer obviously. Other thing is, the overwhelming majority of WvW players you see in a non-guild zerg never played an organized battle between 2 WvW guilds and probably never will. That's why first we should focus on builds that work well in general and don't require an entire organized zerg. After we cover all the classes we can think about more massive projects I guess :P Unrelated, now I miss my dervish.. Anet you better announce an expansion soon with Tengu Dervs! --Necromancer Icon Color.pngHanz(talk) 19:03, 23 August 2014 (UTC)
My guess would be that a 20 man page wouldn't be as long as you think as you'd have maybe 5-7 distinct builds which would be run by multiple players. In general on PvX team builds, we didn't go into as much detail in the description of individual player build use on the team page. We'd give a brief overview for each individual build on the team page and direct users to the page for the individual build for more detailed explanations of usage + equipment.--TV Thief Icon.jpgTahiriVeila (talk) 01:39, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
