Jormag Rising Achievement Guide

Overview

Living world Episode 4: Jormag Rising is out, and with it comes a ton of new achievements for everyone to collect! Below you will find a detailed list on how to collect them all. Be aware, there will be story spoilers!

Jormag Rising Mastery | 30 AP + Dominion Tribune Manica Box

This achievement is earned by completing 32 of the achievements all around Drizzlewood. By our calculations, there is room to choose two achievements to not complete and still earn the reward. Additionally, the special missions do not count towards this achievement.

Story Completion Achievements | 5 AP

These achievements are rewarded for completing the story steps with the corresponding names.

• A Simple Negotiation
• A Wrench in the Works
• Behind Enemy Lines
• Pantheon the Wild
• One Charr, One Dragon, One Champion

Story Instance Achievements | 10 AP

These achievements can only be completed within a story instance.

• TIP: To repeat a story instance, set "Jormag Rising" as your active story. Look for purple stars on your World Map. Going to those stars will allow you to repeat instances without having to go through the whole episode.

Beach Cleanup | 3 AP

This achievement is earned in the "Behind Enemy lines" story step. This is done by defeating all of the Charr in the first three groups on the beach. Simply let yourself be caught and hack away. You will earn completion as soon as all three groups have been defeated.

Genuine Imposter | 2 AP

This achievement is completed by talking your way through the first story mission, Behind Enemy Lines. This may take a few times to complete, as you need to successfully talk your way out of 10 situations after being caught by the soldiers. From what we understand, it's entirely random which option is correct.

The Ghost | 5 AP

Like the previous instanced achievements, this one is also earned in "Behind Enemy Lines". Instead of fighting everyone, sneak around the Soldiers at each objective. After activating the third canon without being seen, you will earn the achievement!

• TIP: This is more easily done with friends, as they will be given an ability to distract the soldiers.

Map Achievements | 157 AP

All of these achievements can be earned throughout the Drizzlewood Coast map!

Arena of the Wolverine: Gold | 3 AP

This achievement is completed by earning gold on the Arena of the Wolverine adventure. Defeating Wolverine can be a bit challenging, but with practice his patterns can be predicted. The timer is also very forgiving, so keep practicing!

Arena of the Wolverine: Silver | 2 AP

See above on details. Earning gold on this adventure will also earn the silver achievement!

Citadel Crasher | 15 AP

This achievement is earned by completing the entire Drizzlewood map Meta event 15 times. Its likely that completion can be earned by being present for the final Claw of Jormag boss fight.

Confer with Bangar | 2 AP

We aren't quite sure that time gate is on this achievement, as it doesn't seem to be a daily reset. From what we can tell, this achievement is earned by visiting Bangar in the Eye of the North seven different times. We will update once we have a better understanding.

Death to the Corrupted | 25 AP

Much like its Glory to X predecessors, this achievement is earned by collecting 5000 Charr Commendations for the Corrupted faction. You can set which faction your commendations go to by speaking to a Quaestor. This achievement can be expedited by unlocking and completing the special missions.

Death to the Dominion | 25 AP

Much like its Glory to X predecessors, this achievement is earned by collecting 5000 Charr Commendations for the Dominion faction. You can set which faction your commendations go to by speaking to a Quaestor. This achievement can be expedited by unlocking and completing the special missions.

Drizzlewood Coast Insight: Camp Cliffs | 1 AP

This achievement is earned by collecting the Camp Cliffs mastery point.

Drizzlewood Coast Insight: Falls | 1 AP

This achievement is earned by collecting the Falls mastery point.

Drizzlewood Coast Insight: Frost Citadel | 1 AP

This achievement is earned by collecting the Frost Citadel mastery point.

Drizzlewood Coast Insight: Northern Camp | 1 AP

This achievement is earned by collecting the Northern Camp mastery point.

Drizzlewood Coast Insight: The Frostveins | 1 AP

This achievement is earned by collecting the Frostveins mastery point.

Drizzlewood Historian | 1 AP

This achievement is earned by collecting give different books hidden around the north side of Drizzlewood. Here are their locations.

• The Legacy and Mythos of the Olafson Sword

• The Great Drunken Debauchery of Sven Liefson

• The Betrayal of Olaf Olafson

Ears Wide Open | 10 AP

This achievement is earned by setting up listening devices in specific locations around the north side of Drizzlewood. To begin this collection be sure to speak with Cato Snapjaw. Here are the locations of Cato and the Strategic Locations:

Fearless Diver | 1 AP

This achievement is earned by diving off a cliffside into the water below. Here is the location of the goggles:

Flight of the Eagle Spirit: Gold | 3 AP

This achievement is earned by completing the Flight of the Eagle Spirit adventure. This can be done by using the speed up action off of cool down and following the raven spirit very closely.

Flight of the Eagle Spirit: Silver | 2 AP

See above on details. Earning gold on this adventure will also earn the silver achievement!

Impressive Pugilist | 3 AP

This achievement is earned by utilizing the 6 different impressive actions during the Wolverine Arena adventure. This can be done easily without even realizing you're doing them. Here is the criteria for each action:

• Break the Wolverine Spirit's Defiance Bar.
• Dodge two attacks back-to back.
• Dodge an attack and then quickly land a critical hit on the Wolverine.
• Avoid the fire circles that the Wolverine Spirit occasionally spawns.
• Avoid the blue snare circles that the Wolverine Spirit occasionally spawns.
• Jump over the shock wave that occasionally emanate from the Wolverine Spirit.

In This Together | 3 AP

Hilariously, this achievement is earned by rolling off the top of the mountain in the Canopy Crag section of the map. Simply mount up and roll off! Here is the precise location:

Intel Collector | 10 AP

This achievement is earned by unlocking all of the special missions with Char and Enemy Intel documents. These documents can be earned from chests, traded for from the Quaestors, or purchased on the TP.

Intelligence Gatherer | 3 AP

This achievement is earned by collecting Intel drops from several bosses throughout the north Drizzlewood Meta. The drops are not guaranteed though, so it may take several runs through the meta to earn them all. Here is a list of the enemies that drop the required items:

• Blood Tribune: Located in the north meta at Archstone Coast.
• Frost Tribune: Located in the north meta at Frostvein Watch.
• Ash Tribune: Located in the north meta at Sentinel Bay.
• Iron Tribune: Located in the north meta Dominion's Breach.
• Phalanx: Can be found during the siege on the Frost Citadel.
• Ruinbringer Tank: A boss during the Frost Citadel Siege.
• Claw of Jormag: The final boss of the map meta.

Olaf Olafson's Secret | 5 AP

This achievement is earned by working through a little scavenger hunt. To start, purchase the Map Fragment from a Quartermaster in Drizzlewood. Below is how to complete each step:

• Purchase the Map Fragment from a quartermaster
• Defeat the Claw of Jormag in Drizzlewood
• Loot the caches after taking wolfs crossing
• Found in charr and norn chests scattered around drizzlewood.
• Defeat an enemy tribune.

Sanguine Sniper | 3 AP

This achievement is earned by using a Blood Collector rifle 10 times on enemies. This rifle can be found in the Frost Citadel during the meta event.

• Tip: While not technically a story only achievement, this can be done very easily in the "One Charr, One Dragon, One Champion" story mission. There is a rifle located right at the beginning.

Shards of Jormag | 5 AP

This achievement is earned by collecting all 20 Shards of Jormag that are hidden around the north side of Drizzlewood. Here is the location for each one:

Shiver at the Peaks | 10 AP

This achievement requires the /shiver emote that can be earned from WvW or completing the Shadow in the Ice mastery achievement. This achievement is completed by shivering on top of several mountains throughout the shiverpeaks. While using a skyscale for this achievement is not required, it's strongly recommended. Here are the locations of each peak:

Skyscale Rider: Drizzlewood Coast | 5 AP

This achievement is earned by completing the 4 skyscale rifts scattered throughout the north side of Drizzlewood. Here are there locations:

Spiritual Renewal | 5 AP

This achievement is a small side quest in and of itself. It will bring you all around the shiverpeaks. To begin, speak to Owl Shaman Garon in the Eye of the North. Here are the locations of each step.

• Step 1: Eye of the North

• Step 2: Snowden Drifts

• Step 3: Lonar's Pass

• Step 4: Hoelbrak

• Step 5: Cragstead

• Step 6: Frostgorge Sound

• Step 7 & 8: Drizzlewood

Steamy Selection | 1 AP

This achievement is earned by locating the book "More than she Bergen for". Here is the books location:

The Ox's Yoke: Gold | 3 AP

This achievement is earned by completing the Ox's Yoke adventure within the Gold time limit. The timer on this is very lax, and allows you to take your time. Be sure to collect the big orbs and use the abilities your given for advanced movement.

The Ox's Yoke: Silver | 2 AP

See above. Earning the gold achievement will also reward silver completion!

Tribune Slayer | 5 AP

This achievement is earned by killing each of the 5 tribunes once. Each tribune can be found during the north Drizzlewood meta, starting at Dominions Breach in these locations:

• Blood Tribune: Located in the north meta at Archstone Coast.
• Frost Tribune: Located in the north meta at Frostvein Watch.
• Ash Tribune: Located in the north meta at Sentinel Bay.
• Iron Tribune: Located in the north meta Dominion's Breach.

Collections | 65 AP

These achievements are all locked behind collections. Below you will find a guide on how to finish each one!

Tribune Weapon's Collector | 15 AP

To earn this achievement, all 5 of the Tribunes weapons need to be collected. Each weapon has a chance to drop from their corresponding tribune during the north Drizzlewood meta, starting at Dominions Breach.

Master of the Storms | 50 AP

This achievement is earned by crafting all of the Charged Stormcaller Weapons, or unlocking their skins through the trading post. The recipes for each weapon can be earned through Frost Legion Crafting boxes and Dominion Crafting Boxes.
