I like the tankiness, its a new way of staying alive. Cooldowns are essential to surviving. However the team presence is lacking. It is difficult to keep allies up and sometimes requires burning important CDs for the self. There is a weirdly even more painful level of mobility which makes getting to points even harder. In higher arenas its not enough to just remain on one point. Also two professions that this build has a hard time against is a combo thief Mesmer. Interrupting a CD that is crucial is basically death. With that said it is fun to troll around three or more newbies on this build. However once your enemy knows how to shut you down when not to attack and when to delete your shroud (moa sucks!) It becomes a very poor build for actually bunkering, and that doesn't even include the low level of support this build has compared to a guardian for example. Ressing can sometimes be fun! Good to try out.

Been playing this build for a while now and really love how tanky it is while still bringing a lot of team utility in the form of interrupts, condition manipulation, immobilises etc. Depending on team composition I've also found it capable of providing surprisingly good damage with just a few modifications, and without sacrificing too much of the support aspect.

This is as viable as Bunker/Support nec can get. While it'll never be as good as bunker guard or shoutbow warrior, it has insane sustain, decent downed support, mobility, and AoE healing.

I'm playing it for a few weeks now with Spite/Blood/SR + warhorn and love it. It's amazing how it shines in 1v2+ situations or mesmers that missed to interupt signet of the locust.

I love the Plague Signet the build is good overall...but I found myself using the Signet of Spite instead of Signet of the Locust. Just saying preferred the other Signet more.

I have been playing this build non stop for a couple days now. I am loving it myself. I can hold my own in a 2v1 situation until help shows up, I even have turned team fights around. multiple times. I run warhorn instead of dagger/dagger, and I swapped out one blood line trait for the ritual of life for rezzing. The warhorn swiftness was enough for me and everything runs so smoothly, by the time I need a certain signet it is off cooldown and I feel like my presence is known.
