This is a great build. I'm beginner Necro, and I found that I had great survivability and damage output with this build. The tip from Lord Dustin to use Rise + Spectral Armor + plague signet was really good for this build as I generally solo que and find myself quickly without any back up, where Corrupt Boon + Suffer was good but I found myself dieing a little too quickly.

Corruptionmancer has been a very strong Reaper build for some time now. Personally for me, I stick with Rise+Spectral Armor with Plague Signet instead of taking Corrupt Boon as I solo que and sustain is more essential to a Necromancer. I also run Corruptionmancer fully Condition Damage built, as I run it with Deadshot Amulet instead of Carrion for maximum condition damage pressure while keeping my health and life force bar fairly high. Overall, still a very powerful build and in my honest opinion, much more powerful than Power Reaper which is the current meta.

Insane condi spam, decent survivability and easy to play. The amount of unblockable skills is another big advantage. I personally run the SpectralArmor+PlagueSignet variant, with Path of Corruption instead of Master of Corruption.

Currently THE most common build in solo-queue. At least two on nearly every team. Very difficult for non-coordinated teams to generate enough condi clear. Constant chill and reaper shroud make it difficult for anyone to disengage. As with many necro builds, mobility is on the low end of the scale. Pretty easy to play overall. Reminds me of Mallyx Rev from the beginning of S1 (but easier).

Really strong build, I enjoy playing it. Getting focused can be tough especially when playing without stun break like I do, ok was using the shroud trait lately, but you still can survive quite a bit. Some fights can be tricky and facetanking isn't really what you should do imo but over all it's a great build.

I find this build to be the best for necro - even better than Signet Reaper. It does super well versus Revenant, Druid and Dragonhunter - removing their boons - and can burst conditions easily. As every necro build around, it requires great positioning skills. I've found it to be weak only against thieves, for the build is slow and few skills do most of the damage.

Decent damage, lots of boon hate, and chill spam.

Another rising reaper build. Decent damage, insane boon corruption and chill spam.

I've been running this build with Wanderer's and Carrion amulets since before the buffs to corrupt boon, scepter auto attack, and before Mercenary's amulet was added. It's a good build with better survival potential than the signet version, and now it can compete with signets for corruption pressure as well.

I'd main-slot Master of Corruption for the significant cooldown reductions. The self-applied condi can actually be used offensively with the amount of transfers the build has (if you take dagger offhand which I suggest at least adding as a an alternative). I personally prefer Summon Flesh Wurm and Spectral Armour for utilities, since being able to corrupt while taking more survivability is the point of running curses over spite.
