    is great for disrupting enemy res attempts (also for decapping). If the resurrector has Stability Stability simply use this skill on the downed enemy to knock him out of range. Personal Battering Ram:

  • Great way to knockback and control the enemy team. Guarentee the advantage to yourself by using gear shield and then casting this when you get to them. The toolbelt skill is also a daze as well as high damage and adds to your spike dps overall.

Mortar Kit This is an incredibly strong new elite skill that engineers must learn to abuse to its maximum potential. The most important skills to know are the 4 and 5 skills. The 4 is an aoe blind which is incredibly useful for securing stops, preventing high dmg abilites, and countless other applications. The 5 skill is a water field that gives periodic healing. THis allows you to stack even more healing with blast finishers, even if your healing turret isn't up. Skill 3 applies aoe chill which can prevent people from getting to a base early game long enough for you to capture it, and the aoe poison field (2) is helpful as well. The autoattack is also a high damage aoe if you get a chance to spam it, which, in addtion to your toolbelt skills allows for insane single target and aoe cleaves. HOWEVER: be careful not to stack all the fields on top of each other unless the one you want was put down first (ie if you wanted to heal make sure elixir shell was placed FIRST) Rifle Turret:

is separated from Surprise Shot. Do not keep the turret deployed for too long as you'll want to use its toolbelt skill on CD. The turret itself has multiple functionalities:

  • The engineer can use it as a blast finisher in a Water Field for extra healing.
  • It's also a CC which can be used to disrupt enemy burst or stomps.

Tool kit basics: Toolkit is a very handy set once you learn to use it, the main reason to take it is not the damage.

This skill can be used to CC your enemy into skill chains, or if used at the right spot, you can pull people to really unvanted places - at Temple of the Silent Storm you can pull people to the hole at the upper buff in the middle, pull them to glass panels on Skyhammer, or from a window on Khylo at the Clocktower you can pull off a bunker guardian into the stairs, often forcing another member of the enemy to stand on the point until the guardian climbs back or giving enough time to one of your teammates to decapture the point.
