This build has no place in wvw at all. It does nothing well, it's purpose is damage, but it's not realisticly going to do nearly enough to warant a slot in a party/squad. Revenant, Necro, even Mesmer and Soulbeast are better damage dealers in the moment(simply because you can't stay in melee like you did in HoT era). But the one class it's similar the most to is holosmith and there is such a difference there that you can't imagine. It is also utterly outclasses by spellbreaker and even if winds of disenchantement is nerfed to the ground spellbreaker should still be better, because of it's only slightly lower damage but so much better control/bonrip.

THE Warrior meta build in 2016 and onwards. Outputs massive damage and sustain itself decently, though concentrated focus can be tough to handle without popping stances. I would suggest Balanced Stance over Dolyak Signet, as pulsing stab is very, very important in a boon ripping/corrupting meta, but its unimportant enough to be left up to preference.

An exceptional build. Considering all of the changes the warrior has gone through, keeping him in line with his strengths while maintaining the obligatory support (i.e. Battle Standard) is the way to go. A few, but not many, variants can be made here. I would advise using the Sweet Bean Bun or a Boon oriented food as apposed to Lemongrass, as it no longer is -40 condi duration and instead -20. Sigil of Perception can also be traded for Strength, if the crits feel lacking. I would prefer this over switching out the Runes. If you're feeling daring For Great Justice can be traded for Outrage, giving some long lasting might to allies and more fury if you feel fine on your adrenaline. Besides that though, this is a pure Meta Warrior. And for good reason. It's dmg/survivable factor, added with defensive runes for support, and of course it's Elite, makes for strong team-play in a large group. The added Berserk mode, with more dps and immobilize added, makes it even stronger. Sure, it's not as supportive as the warhorn once was, or as other classes are like the Guardian, but it provides a bonus to dmg to the Warrior himself which benefits to dps in group fights.

This is is a close image of the build warriors use in a wvw raid. This is by no means a horrible build however the sigil and skill choices can actually be. With melee zerg play you would want to have Eternal Champion instead of Bloody Roar. The boon duration can make it even better. The healing skill is a personal choice but the most viable one for a melee dmg dealer in a zerg is Defiant Stance. Balanced Stance does not provide enough protection against CC with the low stacks. Dolyak Signet can give you a better breathing room when the commander calls for a leap in and bomb. Outrage slot is a personal choice. I would suggest Sundering Leap for the slot as its guaranteed to fill in the adrenaline bar for berserker mode for a reliable damage sequence and an immobilize cleanse . Hammer sigils should include Draining Sigil for the extra sustain and damage in would provide with the AoE CC the hammer skills bring. I would suggest exhanging Hydromancy on hammer with Draning. Greatsword provides a high dmg AoE burst and a good escapif need be. Hydromancy sigil should replce Strength to supplement the AoE burst and make the escape easier from melee thanks to chill. otherwise this is a good build for zerging and a change of weapons and skills could also make it great for roaming

Hit very hard by the Primal Burst nerf. This build now lacks in survivability, damage and utility compared to other DPS, only remaining advantage over other DPS is decent personal stability access.

Powerful build capable of making a meaningful impact on any fight- can generate downs and give crucial AoE revivals that turn the tide of a lot of close fights.
