  • Superior Sigil of Energy Superior Sigil of Energy

    Gain 50% of your endurance when you swap to this weapon while in combat. (Cooldown: 9s)
  • Superior Sigil of Courage Superior Sigil of Courage

    On hit gain might for 10 seconds. (Cooldown: 2s)



  • Use shatters to grant boons to allies, clear conditions, heal, and deal damage.
  • Activate Continuum Split.png Continuum Split at the end of the cast time of a skill, rather than before casting, to fit more skills inside the split window.
  • All of your shatters give a stack of Stability Stability, so don't be afraid to use them just to keep yourself safe.
  • Stand in your wells to benefit from All's Well That Ends Well.png All's Well That Ends Well.
  • If Illusionary Inspiration.png Illusionary Inspiration hasn't procced yet, save it for when you have important boons like Alacrity Alacrity etc.


  • Blurred Frenzy.png Blurred Frenzy isn't only for dealing damage - it's your second, short CD Distortion.png Distortion which can be handy when you are expecting a burst but ran out of dodges.
  • The chain skill of Illusionary Leap.png Illusionary Leap, Swap.png Swap is one of your key skills. You can Immobilize Immobilize the target so he/she can't dodge your burst - the shorter version is simply using the Swap Blurred Frenzy Mind Wrack combo.
  • Not only does Tides of Time.png Tides of Time interrupt, but it also grants Alacrity Alacrity to allies it passes.


  • Phase Retreat.png Phase Retreat has multiple uses: it can be used while turning around abruptly to move forward (About face is recommended, but mouse click panning works just as fine, all up to preference), it can be used while CC'd and surviving burst(s), and it is able to teleport onto some ledges which are too high to jump onto, serving as effective shortcuts.   • Chaos Storm.png Chaos Storm can be used on downed players to interrupt stomps or rezzes as well as grant boons while standing in it.

Lemme get this straight, it's like condi mes but no damage? xd why would anyone play this instead of sage? i see there are some support skills thrown in but not enough to pay for the damage lost

This build has great combination of team support and damage, examples of this can be seen in the wells as they offer team support through heals and boons such as protection. Furthermore, thanks to the menders amulet, shatters heal for nearly two thousand health points each. The only downside I can find in this build is that it requires teammates to understand how the wells work so that they can position themselves to benefit from the buffs.

cause you say bunker i give it great. it lack party support as the ele , ranger , ventari. can handle 1v1. but heavy condi pressure combine with direct dmg like 1v2 can ruin it like any other bunker.

It's a decent mix of support, damage and a lot of CC. Very disruptive and can set up kills rather well but often relies on allies to follow up on it. Not always as impactful on the game as I'd like it to be, but has its moments and definitely works.

It can take in quite a lot of damage. In this meta the build has trouble with constant reapplication of conditions such as from Mirage, but Scourge is easier to play against. It can also deal some surprising damage to teamfights. If Mirage gets nerfed this build will be a lot easier to play IMO (and better).

Edit: Confusion just got nerfed, as in, finally being able to be outplayed by not using skills while confused. Changing back to Great rating.
