Overview
A high spike damage Deadeye draft for sPvP used for traversing the battlefield, picking fights, support damage to group skirmishes, and as always distractions! In WvW can be used to get into bases for flipping and scouting. Using shadow arts for maintaining permanent stealth, maintaining health while taking advantage of Maleficent Seven to boost the damage lost from taking the SA traitline. Biding your time!

Usage for Conquest
- Maintain stealth with spamming and your utilities. If taking , use either or spamming (note that you must not hit an enemy with EITHER skill or you will be forcibly revealed!)
- Maintain your stealth until ready to strike, tab through your enemies and pick a low target to kill. Can't find such skill "Cursed Bullet"! Please refer to our skill index., , then immediately -> until ☠Dead☠.
- As soon as you spike the target, whether they go downed or not, quickly use to re-assess.
- As with most Deadeye builds make use of high stacks of Malice, you have 7 stacks of malice and when you get this high (+21% dmg), its time to act or engage another target, but be aware as soon as you act you have to have an escape plan
- Find opportune times to decap areas while staying in stealth, be sure to come out of stealth to be able to cap!

- Find opportune times to sneak into bases while others are capping to flip the base when they leave!
I'm not as down on Deadeye's rifle as the community as a whole seems to be, but I have problems with this particular build compared to other +1 builds.
"Stay in stealth and tab until someone is low." "When you have 7 stacks of Malice, it's time to act." Are you kidding me? This is basically just letting the rest of the team carry this build. I'd be furious if someone on my team were just sitting on the side in stealth for an entire team fight, waiting for "their moment." Yes, there's a threat to taking 11-19K Rifle 4 out of nowhere into a fight, but that's a lengthy duration into a team fight when a team was fighting a man down. Any other +1 build would have achieved the same results with significantly less set-up. Just because this build can sometimes survive a bit better due to extra stealth (and I say sometimes, berserker amulet thief with Mercy as the only stunbreak really won't hold up any better in many cases regardless of that extra stealth) doesn't mean it's more useful than the other +1 builds. There's almost no functional difference between a +1 build jumping in and dying and a +1 build jumping in and then taking almost a minute to run away and heal in stealth.
To give credit, Rifle 4 untargeted is a decent replacement for Shortbow 5. It doesn't replicate the vertical movement, but covers distance nicely, meaning D/P found good use as an offset.
