This build is decent. Sure it has the tools to heal, remove condi, stealth etc. But what it doesn't have is any 'relevant damage'. You aren't killing Scourges with this build. And you aren't a threat.
With the amount of condi that is being thrown around in matches, the condi clear isn't enough.
The last person to say this build was Great was back in June of 2017...that was 7 months ago. Come back to reality of new Specs.
Build got me legendary three times and platinum twice. (Other season I did not compete)
Great Build Not much else to say. Not sure if Signet of the Wild will be good enough after the bugwith it being unblockable for the duration of the signet active is fixed.
Super build with good offense and defense power- pet dmg u run and shot with bow and of ocurse bow better than melee: CC, invis shot, rapid fire, AOE all it talk what bow better
Played this build alongside the power hammer engi build and had a great time with both of them.
This build has really awesome survivability with all the heals.
Had no problem rezzing my teammates.
Holding Point was no problem even against 3 people.
You still do decent dmg with this build.I had some great 1v1 against other rangers or mesmers.
I took signet of Stone and Lighting reflexes so i have more survivability and a second stunbreaker.
With this build you can really heal your buddys from 10% up to 100% in seconds.
Never lost a Teamfight or a Point if we had a fair fight.
Can recommend this build to every ranger. And to someone who likes to heal and tank at the same time.
Best Ranger build atm. contains great sustain and fine damage.
Definitely my favorite build for this meta, get up to legend playing this almost exclusively. You do have a great 1v1 and pointbunker potential, decent mobility thanks to Swiftness on shouts/staff and strong impact in teamfights because of S&R.
I assume Glyph of Equality is a smart choice too as 3rd slot, to add more CC pressure to the build.
This build works so well in both small fights and big fights, and it's easy to sustain yourself as well as your team. I honestly had never really used Druid before now, and this build is also a really first-time use friendly build. I find myself able to survive longer and more often, especially with my team. The use of "Search and Rescue!" is one of the best options for this build, especially with the teleport to your location. Hiding behind something then using that is a great way to make sure you don't lose any teammates if you can keep from it. Having more than one druid running shoutbow is even better, or at least more than one druid running "Search and Rescue!" because then they become cancerous.
My favorite build atm. Search and rescue is amazing, and combined with stealth from longbow etc. its easier to set up well. The stealth from longbow along with staff 3 gives pretty decent kiting options if u get focused. Pretty easy to achive decaps with this build due to knockback and roots, the downside to longbow is the amount of reflects from engis and eles. Still it got some good teamsupport with celestial avatar along with the shouts, and can help turn fights around to your favor.
This is one of my favorite builds right now. The search and rescue is amazing for turing around a teamfight, especially if you have high ground or are behind a wall so that your rezzing does not get interrupted. Protect me and Strength of the Pack are great against lots of stun, longbow lets you deal high amounts of ranged dmg and staff gives you ways to move around/be defensive. Celestial Avatar removes all conditions from you, and disengage is very easy with staff 3 and stealth from avatar. The shouts give lots of regen during teamfights, which really does charge you avatar, and all your heals help too!
The reworked search and rescue alone but the build has so much utility to offer as well as some decent damage. The cleansing you provide your team with does great against any condition based opponents. Having both an Auramancer as well as a Shoutbow Druid is great as long as your team isn't lacking in damage. Its toolkit allows it to fit fairly well into the current meta game. The new search and rescue is a game changer. A welcome addition to most team compositions.
Incredible build with a mix of offense and support. Search and rescue is a game changer it's enough to push it just under Auramancer level support despite the latter's far superior team utility.
I am not 100% sold on the amulet but overall those weapons with shouts do a good job. Druid and Beastmastery are just must have traitlines too. Only thing I am not 100% sure yet is if Marauder for more damage might not be the better choice since you want to stay on range with those weapons anyway (and to utilize search and rescue). I also think using Marksmanship instead of Nature Magic to trait stone signet is a valid choice.
- You are able to do massive amount of healing to the team.
- Its amazing at ressing team members.
- Provide substantial damage.
- Pretty descent on 1v1 scenarios.
Great build so far in my experience. The smokescale gives you decent melee/scrapping potential vs. melee threats and is surprisingly decent when combined with Staffs utility. Has a lot of issues with chain CC/DH's. Have to play a bit cautiously when your celestial avatar form is down as it's your best condi-cleanse by far. I took guard as opposed to SoS, it's up 3x more often and is still a decent skill in smaller skirmishes.
Its a good build that has solid damage and healing output.
It's an alright build. I just cannot help but feel that shouts & ranged playstyle don't synergize well with what is expected of a druid in the current meta. That said I'm practicing this right now with mixed results, it's possible that I'll learn to like it more & then I'll change my rating.
A more viable version of the pew pew ranger. While it takes some time for your damage to ramp up (might stacks), the pets still carry the dps and the recently buffed shouts provide amazing party utility. Decent damage/support from an even better range, with easy disengage.
Excellent Team support build with great 1v1 potential. Its a jack of all trades with ranged damage, healing, mobility, CC and burst potential.
