Overview

A relatively strong core class damage dealer for people without expansion that would like to do fractals, or for people who enjoy core classes. The Gear requirement is also the same as Power Mechanist meaning a lot of engineer players already have the required gear to play this build.

Skill Variants

  • Elite Mortar Kit can be replaced for any of the other elite skill.
    • Supply Crate can be used for a long cooldown big stun and some extra healing and condition cleanses through Med Pack Drop.
    • Elixir X can be used for extra CC through Toss Elixir X and when used can turn you into Rampage or Tornado with more CC skills.
  • Rifle Turret is your weakest damaging skill and should be the skill replaced if you need more cc or utility.
    • Personal Battering Ram for more CC.
    • Elixir S can be used to skip some mechanics with Invulnerability.
    • Elixir R, the toolbelt skill Toss Elixir R can be used to revive a group.
    • Rocket Boots can be used for extra mobility.


Note on Traits

  • There is no need for extra precision on top of full Berserker stats Berserker stats gear thanks to High Caliber and Hematic Focus.
  • The build greatly benefits from different condition on the target due to Modified Ammunition.
  • This build has built in self condition cleanses due to Mechanized Deployment.
  • Takedown Round increases damage while endurance is not full, using up both dodges right before a burst phase on certain encounters can greatly increase damage output of this build.
  • Gadgeteer upgrades all gadget type skills on engineer, A.E.D. lasts longer, Rocket Boots fly further, Personal Battering Ram launches further.
    • Throw Mine also spawns a second mine on the players location - Because of this try to stay inside the boss or just at the very edge for the second mine to detonate.


Usage

  • Precast Mine Field, Throw Mine and Rifle Turret when possible.
  • Use Grenade Barrage, Throw Mine, Surprise Shot, Orbital Strike, Mine Field, and all rifle skills off cooldown.
  • Use Blunderbuss off cooldown and always follow up with Shrapnel Grenade, and Poison Grenade or Freeze Grenade when available.
  • Fill with rifle auto attacks Rifle Burst.
  • Dodge Dodge to prevent reaching full endurance.

Great build. Lots of versatility and competes with the elite specializations with dps in raids.
