Variants
If another revenant or herald is present, which offers
, alternatively a variant with Invocation instead of Devastation can be played. Unlike the devestation variant, however, it's not based on strong burstheads but on constant healing by the tablet.
Keep in mind that this version is harder to play since better energy management is necessary to maintain Can't find such trait " Shrouding Mists"! Please refer to our trait index.

Upgrades

Infusion
- 18x
- Choose a Healing +5/+7/+9 Agony Infusion if you plan to use this build in fractals instead.
Notes
- Don't use of Cleric's gear to avoid toughness conflicts with your tank.
- If tanking, use some Cleric's trinkets and switch your Zealot's gear to Magi's instead.
- Full Magi gear is recommended in unorganized raid groups. In organized and / or experienced raid groups:
- Magi armor can be swapped against Berserk Armor for a light dps boost.
- Magi trinkets can be exchanged for berserk trinkets for significantly better personal dps.
Consumables
Food:
- gives a straight increase to outgoing healing and a small healing power boost.
Utility:
- profides a small healing power boost and converts healing power to ferocity, which will slightly increase the damage output.
Usage
General
- Maintain Place the facet of nature on yourself to grant nearby allies naturalistic resonance every few seconds to increase outgoing boon duration.
- Stay with your auto attack. Use your CC and other weapon skills only when needed. (Further details in weapon selection and skill rotation.)
- Try to always move the tablet through allies for extra healing.
- Keep the HP in mind. Do not overheal the group! This is necessary for better energy management.
- Always start in so you can get from invoking Ventari.
Weapons
- Sword/Shield
- With sword/shield mainly use auto attack as is no dps gain and it's not worth its energy costs.
- Use
- Use only if you're going to die as a second healing skill. Note that you can interupt it so you don't need to stay in place für the whole 3 seconds.
- Staff
- With staff mainly use your auto attack as it provides the most dps and a small heal for other melees.
- Use to block incoming attacks or to blind trash mobs.
- Use for a additional heal and condi cleanse or if you need a blast finisher.

Rotation
- Start in
- Legendary Dragon. Consume Facet of Elements to cover the target area in magical dragon breath.

Helpful Tips
- If more CC is needed, the shield can also be exchanged for an axe. Hurl your axe at your target, damaging and chilling the foes the axe passes through. When the axe reaches the target, shadowstep to it and deliver a large blow.
- By dropping healing orbs with staff auto attack chain, more than 5 allies can be healed!
- is a block and can be used to absorb damage.
- can be used to cast AOE blind trash mobs.
- can be used before the tablet is moved, so that the healing effect occurs directly at the destination.

Videos
The videos are divided into two categories. Videos from before the patch on 22.02.2017 and videos from after the balance patch. The builds played pre patch might be differ slightly from the actual build. Most of them run the Invocation variant. All credits go to the uploader of the videos (and the corresponding raid guilds).
I have played your build and one of my creation. The concept is great, but it needs work. First off, there is too much toughness in this build as has been said and a lot of the traits need to be swapped out. I get the concept behind what you were trying to do but those exact traits are more likely to get the raid killed (bastion trait) than being helpful.
Now, the concept itself is great. I did play a herald/ Ventari healer during a VG run. There are a lot of up sides to being able to split your heals with the tablet and the staff, but I did end up camping staff more times than not because the shield was risky to swap to for healing. It was good to do so when in Ventari but if forced into herald where the only thing keeping my allies up was the facet of light I didn't want the shield at all and rather kept the staff. It is better to try to stay in Ventari since otherwise all you're using for heals is a facet.
Boon duration is already increased as well by just being herald. I ran magis armor and weapons with trinkets as clerics and the heals were powerful but I think some trinkets could be swapped for zerker for a dps gain without too great of a healing lose. Also, as I said some traits need to be swapped out to be less defensive and more support through boons to allies since we're not staying in Glint long enough for that to be effective. And the herald shines in boon sharing this is just boon sharing through heals.
