Overview

Low-Intensity Flamethrower is one of the easiest builds to play in the game, which features permanent Stability Stability granting near immunity to CC passively

What Is LI?

LI stands for "Low-Intensity". LI builds are a class of builds that work to slow the game down drastically by using passive defense and builds that require very low input to function. These builds are designed primarily for players that have disabilities that may prevent them from playing higher intensity builds, though they are here for any player who wishes to play them.

LI builds function quite well on their own and are created to be equivalent to our General or Roaming build section. They typically do not output especially high DPS and focus on gear with passive defense

Specializations

Core

If using Core Engineer, replace Mechanist with Inventions and take two turrets.

Tier 2

If comfortable with the above, consider swapping Alchemy for Explosives.

  • Note that with Explosives traited, you generate an Explosion on your next attack after each dodge roll. If you are uncomfortable with dodging, this trait line is not recommended.

Equipment

Ascended gear and stat infusions are not required; exotic gear with the same stats is fine.

Consumables

Very good. I just sit there with a flame thrower, robot does most of the work, keeps the agro against field mobs and I just flame them automatically. Good for someone who only has one had to use due to injury, or problems focusing and remembering combos, like me.
