I've got an earlier version of this with full Dire armour, weapons and accessories. I'm reluctant to change the armour and lose the Perplexity runes, so which accessories should I switch to Trailblazer to get similar stats. Back piece is already Trailblazer.

I still play a variant of this build since years. I still don't need to include Chrono for this to work. You can escape almost every situation with that build and still win a lot of 1on1s. Only problem this build has, that if an enemy wants to run, you usally can't follow him for long. @Guyon: I usally start with Torch#5, Scepter#3, Sc#2, Torch#4, Staff #5, Staff #2, Staff #3. But that is just my personal preference.

Can anyone give me a general skill chain (especially to start a combat)? Also What do I want to concentrate on. I see that Chaos Armor really is useful for mitigating damage. I also see that F5 is useful to recharge skills fast. What do you suggest before the F5? A guide would be very nice for this. .

I have picked this build up again (WvW) after mes stealth got ever so slightly nerfed. But this time I have dropped dueling for inspiration. Sure you miss the blind on shatter, and clone on dodge; but with inspiration comes condi removal on shatter AND 2 condi's removed on healing. Using the manipulation heal, you get another reflect and a 2 condi removal on 15 sec cooldown. Having stealth lessens the importance of clones on dodge and focus on the full cheese-tacticness of stacking lots and lots of confusion :).

This build has excellent survivability and applies tons of deadly conditions and thus is perfect for solo roaming WvW. With some minor-ish tweaks can be also used in PvP and PvE. You can easily win a 1v2 (or 3) if you are skillful enough. With only one true counter in Diamond skin Elementalists is this one of the best builds for solo roaming out there in Tyria.

This build also delivers good in PVP. Though with some obvious conversion tweaks :) I also use this builds as a backline harrass build with great success. Running head into the backline/pirate crowd with staff 5 and 2, then doubbledodge in again and finishing with a shatter, and while still affected with chaos armor i can run/blink out of the group pretty much unharmed. With the right rotation i get 1:06 minutes of stealth and 5-8 secs of visibility untill i can restart the rotation. Thumbs up!

I think this build should be in the Meta category. It is easy to see how it is so incredibly powerful in WvW.

The best build for solo roaming on Mesmer. I wouldn't pick up for group roaming though. Has a lot of survivaibility and it exploit the huge space that WvW offers for fights.

This is one of the best mesmer builds I have come across. It has one flaw and that is roaming speed. If you are in a group you usually get left behind.

This is by far the best Build out there ! Easy to play and you can easily handle up to 3 ppl all allone. The stealths (up to 1min Stealthtime) let you reposition yourself and gain distance to Melee classes. After a full rotation and Shatter (F2) your target gets up to 20 Stacks of Confusion and 10 Stacks of Torment, while also burning down your enemy with like 2k per tick. You dont have to burst them down as fast as possible. You can use your abilities like Staff#2 - Scepter/Torch #2/ #4 and your utility skills/Elite to survive 2 Burst Thiefs and other Classes.. Just going defense and get some conf. stacks on them is enough to kill both, they can't handle the amount of Conditions not even with Shadow Arts. This Build all allone is the new Meta.
