Overview

One of the better tagging options engineer has, this build provides superspeed to itself and the zerg while dealing low area damage constantly, making it a decent tagging build provided you can close the 600 range distance to mobs before they die. This build has permanent Stability Stability and no rotation, making it one of the easiest builds to play in the game - Though its DPS and actual defense are very, very low.

Pros
  • Extremely easy to play
  • Perm Stability Stability makes you nearly immune to CC
  • Decent mobility thanks to Superspeed and
Cons
  • Close-range, meaning you will miss a lot more tags than something like GS Mirage or Shortbow Daredevil
  • Extremely low DPS, even with 25 might
  • Defense is relatively low

Superior Rune of Speed
  • can be used for higher DPS but drastically reduce mobility.

Consumables

Generally when zerging you want to run consumables that grant you a higher income. Those that boost your karma and experience gains are preferred, as experience and karma can be converted into gold or materials easily.
Food
  • Any ascended food is superior to any other food you could use. Steak for power, flatbread for conditions.
  • - Use for general farming.
  • - Use for when you need to max out magic find.
  • - more sustain (requires crit chance)
  • Anything - Any food is better than none, but you should prioritize the food above before using any other food.
Utility
  • , , - general farming
  • - good damage option with +karma

Usage

This is arguably the easiest tag build to play in the game.

  • Camp Flamethrower and spam auto-attacks and utilities off cooldown, though try to space out some wells to ensure permanent Quickness Quickness.

Definitely a good, simple and very efective build. Just sit down and watch everything on the open world melt. You can play with the gyros according to your needs. definetely should be ranked higher.

Chill brainless build with superb mid-range tagging ability and great cc with Personal Battering Ram. Permanent stability is great QoL improvement for knock-heavy boss fights (Chak Gerent, Claw of Jormag, Crown Pavilion Kuraii).

Very fun and simple build to play. If you like to burn everything, it's for you. Good survivability, so much boons... even without good runes (i'm playing with Balthazar runes and it works). I'm pretty noob but maybe strong with Runes of the Flame Legion ? (power, burning duration and 7% damage against burnt enemies)

I run around in this build for PvE, but swap in Shredder Gyro and Bulwark Gyro. Seriously, is there any other profession + build that's any more face-tanky than this? I can take on multiple PoF veteran fire hydras without breaking a sweat. The inability to be knocked down due to near permanent stability is ridiculously powerful.

While this build isn't going to match up to TagDevil or Greatsword Mirage, it brings ample superspeed to the table which allows it to easily stay on the front lines of any zerg while buffing the zerg's clear time. The limited range prevents this build from being top tier, but its decent enough to run even with very fast zergs.
