Overview

No longer a quickness option, Bladesworn can now provide Alacrity Alacrity via Daring Dragon. The lack of banners opens up the option to deal an impressive amount of DPS for a boon support, though its ability to provide boons other than Alacrity Alacrity is limited.

The incredibly high base duration of the trait means that no boon duration is required and gear can be reused from Bladesworn - Power DPS, and Dragonspike Mine allows for a large buffer of Alacrity Alacrity to be built up immediately, making the build relatively efficient at handling mechanics.

It also has access to some incidental support from the Tactics traitline.

  • As you overcap crit with this setup, it is a small DPS increase to swap in Diviner stats Diviner stats gear up to ~10% boon duration whilst remaining crit-capped.
  • On encounters where bosses can be stunned (e.g. Keep Construct and most Strikes and Fractals) you would benefit more from a Sigil of Superior Sigil of Impact instead of the Sigil of Superior Sigil of Accuracy.
    • In this case, it would be optimal to have the weapon with Sigil of Superior Sigil of Impact use Assassin stats Assassin stats, and also use (or ascended versions) as your food.

Loop Explanation

This build uses Lush Forest, which reduces the cooldowns of all your skills when we use a skill that is at max charges. Because of this, we can use Dragonspike Mine every time we are in Gunsaber, increasing Alacrity Alacrity generation.

This informs the use of Gunsaber skills at step 7 of the Gunsaber Loop: we wish to trigger Lush Forest twice, so we use two skills that are at max charges, with Blooming Fire Blooming Fire and Cyclone Trigger Cyclone Trigger taking priority.

General Tips

  • Dragon's Roar will interrupt the cast time of skills other than Gunstinger if used too early.
  • While charging Dragon Trigger, you can use Triggerguard Triggerguard and/or Flicker Step Flicker Step to correct your positioning or prevent getting knocked out of Dragon Trigger.
    • Be aware that can affect your rotation if you end up missing Lush Forest triggers, but it will be better than missing a Dragon Slash - Force Dragon Slash - Force.
  • Dragon Slash - Force Dragon Slash - Force alone is over half your total damage, so it is essential not to delay Dragon Trigger. If necessary, you can skip skills in your rotation if it is already available.
