Equipment
Usage
The Hand of Khor
Rending Rage — This is your main damaging ability and the one you will use to DPS. Use the first two casts of the ability to deal damage while the third cast can be used to root targets if needed. Keep in mind that every hit will also apply a Rending Bleed that will constantly do damage.
Raging Blades — Using this AOE ability will help you boost up your damage before using Whirlwind but it is more than capable of also clearing out low HP mobs. Make sure to hit as many enemies as possible in order to fully boost your overall damage using this.
Whirlwind — The Whirlwind is your main damaging skill and one of the best for AOE DPS. It lets you spin and deal damage while moving, letting you clear out rooms with ease before moving on to the next. Keep in mind that each hit on the target increases the damage done so make sure to stack enemies before using this.
Deep Cuts — This will help a lot with your single target DPS as the bleeds stack up nicely.
Elder's Stalker Jacket
Electric Field — As your main goal with this build remains AOE damage, the Electric Field is great especially when combined with Raging Blades for lower HP mobs that you'd rather not use Whirlwind on.
Aggression — Straight up increases your damage, is a great choice.
Elder's Scholar Cowl
Energy Shield — With this build being quite mana hungry, using Energy Shield helps a lot with keeping it all under control. Use this before engaging with mobs. Each hit taken while this ability is active will grant you mana. You only need a few hits to max out your mana!
Aggression — Another damage increasing passive which is good to have in this build.
Elder's Scholar Sandals
Energetic Sprint — While Energy Shield is a good ability for mana regeneration, Energetic Sprint offers great mana regen as well whenever you use a run. However, you can use any other boots you might need to fame up and the results won't change much.
Aggression — The standard choice for DPS builds. Remember that you can always switch to Courier so you can carry more items.
Elder's Thetford Cape
Chain Lightning — The cape offers great AOE damage on a low cooldown by simply using your auto-attacks. Keep in mind that the lightning hits mobs in range at random and you should be careful not to pull too many mobs. Another option would be Elder's Avalonian Cape.
Rotations
- Make sure to always use Raging Blades first when you enter the room of a dungeon in order to boost your damage. Follow up with Electric Field and Rending Rage to start cutting up the mobs. Use Whirlwind if needed to clear up whatever remains of the room of mobs but you can also keep it for the next room.
Consumables
Major Poison Potion — A 4.0 poison is the best choice as it deals increased damage to bosses and increases the damage you do, this will help a lot with killing bosses with large HP pools. You can keep a few 8.0 ones in your inventory as well in case you stumble upon a particularly difficult boss.
Cabbage Soup — The Cabbage Soup helps a lot with your health regen problems. Even though mobs will likely die before they can hurt you properly, the Cabbage Soup will heal you between rooms and help you keep going without pausing.
