Equipment
Usage
Elder's Hallowfall
Holy Flash — This AOE heal is perfect for healing groups as it heals multiple people at the same time and makes it much easier for you to keep everyone up while keeping an eye out on enemy movement. Keep in mind that it takes a bit of time until the heal happens even after you cast the skill, giving you time to step into the heal as well.
Holy Orb — This skill will throw out a ball that explodes when it meets any ally player. The explosion heals up to 10 allied players nearby. There is no minimum distance this ball has to travel and you can use it point-blank for some quick heals for yourself and all allies if they are stacked up.
Divine Intervention — Use this as an emergency heal and keep in mind that healing any ally will reduce the cooldown by 50%. The jump will also knock all enemy players caught in the AOE up into the air, allowing you to disrupt the enemy team momentarily and interrupt spellcasting while offering you a good way to reposition.
Adrenaline Driven Charity — This passive will increase your healing every 4th time you cast a spell.
Elder's Robe of Purity
Energy Emission — This spell forms a barrier around you that bounces away enemies in melee range, you can also use this to push enemies away and out of position during a fight, throwing them away from their healers or interrupting their spellcasting with this. There are many situations where this skill can prove useful so experiment with it to master the skill.
Aggression — The perfect passive choice as it increases the healing you do.
Elder's Knight Helmet
Displacement Immunity — Use this before your team pushes in to grant players near you immunity to CCs. This is also particularly useful for yourself during the first seconds of a fight as it will stop CCs from locking you away from your team or making you vulnerable against enemy team combos. Your shotcaller usually asks for the Displacement Immunity to be used so keep that in mind!
Toughness — This passive grants you a bit of nice extra defense which is the only relevant option.
Elder's Stalker Shoes
Raging Blink — This will dash you to wherever you point your cursor and give you a buff of healing. It is a very powerful skill that you want to be careful using as you don't want to waste it. Use this when enemy team engages on you or you are caught out of position and regroup with your group.
Balanced Mind — Just another healing increasing passive.
Elder's Lymhurst Cape
Energy Reserve — This cape helps a lot with your mana sustain. It triggers whenever your mana reaches 40% and will regenerate 80% of your max mana over a few seconds so keep healing throughout the duration.
Rotations
- While there isn't a rotation you should keep using when you heal, you want to generally keep using Holy Flash coupled with Holy Orb to keep your group healthy throughout a fight. Use Divine Intervention for a quick emergency heal and try to land on at least one allied player to lower its cooldown. Use all three in a quick succession after telling your team to group up if you need a full party HP reset.
Consumables
Major Gigantify Potion — You can use this when the enemies start focusing you while you cannot spare any healing for yourself or you are caught out of position, it will soak enough damage for the enemy to switch targets or until you get time to heal yourself.
Pork Omelette — This is the best choice as the Pork Omelette decreases your cooldowns and also increases your cast speed, its perfect for any healer! Use at least a 7.1 version if you do higher tier content.
