Overview
This Vendetta's Wrath build focuses on the PvE use of the weapon. The Vendetta's Wrath is an excellent weapon for solo PvE dungeons and it easily outperforms many other options while remaining very easy to play even for beginners due to a simple skill rotation that will allow you to breeze through dungeons.
Equipment
Usage
Vendetta's Wrath
Burning Field — This AOE is perfect for killing large groups of enemies quickly without burning your other cooldowns. Try to pile up mobs, stacking them on top of eachother so they can all be killed at the same time.
Flame Blast — A great, versatile skill that can be used both offensively and as utility providing you a bit of extra movement speed. With the instant cast, you want to always have this casted on yourself (alt + W) as it will deal AOE damage all around you to the mobs that you kite.
Flame Pillar — Use this large AOE skill to blast enemies after stacking them together, hitting atleast one enemy will decrease the cooldown of this ability by half so you'd have it ready for the next room.
Burn — This passive will apply a burn to your auto-attacks which is nice to have when dealing with single mobs.
Elder's Stalker Jacket
Electric Field — This large AOE skill remains is casted on top of you and pairs perfectly with Flame Blast, making it very easy to kill large groups of enemies. Make sure to use this only when you've already stacked enemies on top of your Burning Field so you don't waste the damage provided by Electric Field on single mobs.
Balanced Mind — The passive offers you a great flat damage increase and its an obvious choice.
Elder's Scholar Cowl
Energy Shield — This ability will not only provide you with a nice defense but also help with not running out of mana. Use this once you've gotten the aggro of a few mobs as every hit you take while under the effect of the shield will restore some mana.
Aggression — You want to choose this passive for the raw damage increase.
Elder's Soldier Boots
Rejuvenating Sprint — While realistically you can use more or less any boots in the game for this without having much of a difference, the Elder's Soldier Boots are a very popular choice for many builds and is good to have specced up. The run also provides a bit of health regen which is nice but not all that needed due to the use of Brightscale Zander.
Toughness — This defensive option is preferred over Authority as the 5% CC duration doesn't help at all.
Elder's Thetford Cape
Chain Lightning — When off cooldown, your auto-attack will create a chain lightining that can hit up to 4 enemies. It's good to keep this cooldown for whenever you have the mobs already piled up but you can also use it to clear out the mobs with low HP.
Rotations
- You should always start off by pulling all the mobs in a room before you make them pile up on top of eachother with your kiting. Use Burning Field to start off the damage before following up with Flame Blast and Electric Field on yourself. Make sure to keep moving while within the center of the mobs so you don't take too much damage from their skills. Use Flame Pillar to finish them off then move on to the next room! Naturally you can also keep using Burning Field as you need, make sure to always have atleast one active at all times.
Remember to also use Energy Shield if you are low on mana or if you expect to take a lot of damage from the pull.
Consumables
Major Gigantify Potion — This is your main panic button, it will help you survive when/if you overpull and have too many mobs attacking you.
Brightscale Zander — Because this build doesn't have any healing in it's skills, you want to use a fish like Brightscale Zander to regen your HP between rooms. Keep in mind that this only works out of combat. You can use basically any other fish though, higher tier ones will also provide you with more HP regen but the Brightscale Zander is a great, cheap choice.
