{{Skill|Meditation}} — This is the ability that resets your cooldowns and should be used after a bomb when your group is pulling back and resetting cooldowns. Use it mainly to reset the cooldown of {{Skill|Razor's Edge}} again and have it up for the next bomb attempt but don't foget that this will also refresh the rest of your cooldowns.
{{Skill|Immortal}} — This ability should be used in order to become unkillable while you are pushing towards the enemy zerg so you can apply your damage. You can also use this skill if you are caught out of position and need to stay alive, offering you a great defensive skill.

{{Skill|Balanced Mind}} — Yet another damage increasing passive, great to have.

Overview

This ZvZ PvP build focuses on dealing burst damage using the Elder's Rift GlaiveElder's Rift Glaive while within a bombsquad. The Elder's Rift GlaiveElder's Rift Glaive is one of the most popular new weapons added to the game. It is one of the easier weapons to play in a bombsquad and a great choice for any new players that joined a ZvZ guild.

Keep in mind: Gear shown in this build is meant as a reference. Choosing the correct tier of gear is very tricky as there are many variables. Some of them being your budget, your spec and minimum Item Power requirements of your guild if used for ZvZ.

You should always check prices based on IP of the items. For example, a masterpiece quality 4.3 Elder's CryptcandleElder's Cryptcandle could be cheaper while providing roughly the same IP as an 8.0.

Usage

Elder's Rift GlaiveElder's Rift Glaive

Spirit SpearSpirit Spear — You want to always use this skill 3 times in order to stack up Spirit Spear Charges that increase your Razor's EdgeRazor's Edge damage based on the amount of charges you have at the time you use your ability. However, on its own, the Spirit SpearSpirit Spear doesn't increase your overall damage, only your auto-attack damage and also increases your range.

Inner FocusInner Focus — Unlike the Spirit SpearSpirit Spear, this actually increases your overall damage AND your movement speed which makes it a very important skill to use before bursting with Razor's EdgeRazor's Edge. Make sure to always use this before pushing in for a quick bomb with your squad. Keep in mind that you have to release (press the ability again) to gain an additional movement speed boost for a short while.

Razor's EdgeRazor's Edge — Make sure that you've stacked Spirit SpearSpirit Spear 3 times before using this skill in order to maximize the damage done with it. Follow your caller when they go in and look for the clump of enemies pulled together before using this. The large AOE is great for hitting entire clumps in a wide line in front of you but don't forget that the skill will also push you forward a bit.

Slow PoisonSlow Poison — A great choice for this build and to help finish off targets Slow PoisonSlow Poison slows down enemies when you auto-attack them and helps with securing kills after a battle your zerg won.

Elder's Jacket of TenacityElder's Jacket of Tenacity

Dynamic DefenseDynamic Defense — Use this skill to increase your damage before a bomb. As Razor's EdgeRazor's Edge damage is physical and not magical, this means you should use this on yourself to boost your damage and armor for a short while. Make sure you don't forget to use this before pushing in with your bombsquad as the 25% damage increase is invaluable.

Balanced MindBalanced Mind — Straight up increases your damage, a great choice for any DPS.

Elder's Mistwalker HoodElder's Mistwalker Hood

ImmortalImmortal — This ability should be used in order to become unkillable while you are pushing towards the enemy zerg so you can apply your damage. You can also use this skill if you are caught out of position and need to stay alive, offering you a great defensive skill.

Balanced MindBalanced Mind — Yet another damage increasing passive, great to have.

Elder's Graveguard BootsElder's Graveguard Boots

Battle FrenzyBattle Frenzy — This skill will negate all CCs and allow you to push through without being stopped by random CCs or defensive tanks. Make sure to use this before bombing. Another alternative is the more expensive but better Elder's Boots of ValorElder's Boots of Valor that has a similar effect so check with your guild on what they use.

ToughnessToughness — This passive offers you a bit of defense which is good to have and the only relevant choice.

Elder's Lymhurst CapeElder's Lymhurst Cape

Energy ReserveEnergy Reserve — With how mana hungry this build is, this cape is the only choice worth taking as it restores your mana once it reaches 40%, allowing you to do multiple engages without running out of mana.

Consumables

Major Resistance PotionMajor Resistance Potion — Feel free to use this potion as a general damage reduction cooldown if you anticipate burst damage from the enemy zerg or if you are caught out of position. Another option is the Major Gigantify PotionMajor Gigantify Potion so the choices is yours. Keep in mind however that healers will have a tough time healing you during the Major Gigantify PotionMajor Gigantify Potion as your HP is greatly increased before it goes back to normal.

Beef StewBeef Stew — With the main point of this build being to deliver burst damage quickly, this is the perfect food for that as it offers a high flat damage increase. Make sure to use an 8.1 or 8.2 version if you can afford it as the build is rather expensive and you shouldn't be cheap with food.
