Overview

The Elder's HallowfallElder's Hallowfall build offers great healing to any PvE Group while remaining rather easy to play. The downside however is that the Elder's HallowfallElder's Hallowfall remains one of the most expensive items in the game. However, once you've mastered the build, you can make use of it in all PvE content like Group Dungeons, Avalonian Roads, Avalonian Dungeons or Hardcore Expeditions.

Keep in mind: Gear shown in this build is meant as a reference. Choosing the correct tier of gear is very tricky as there are many variables. Some of them being your budget, your spec and minimum Item Power requirements of your guild if used for ZvZ.

You should always check prices based on IP of the items. For example, a masterpiece quality 4.3 Elder's CryptcandleElder's Cryptcandle could be cheaper while providing roughly the same IP as an 8.0.

Usage

Elder's HallowfallElder's Hallowfall

Generous HealGenerous Heal — Use this skill mostly to heal the tank when he makes pulls and during a fight. Because the tank normally holds aggro, you mostly need to heal the tank. However, you can still use this to top up DPS players that get hit by mob damage!

Holy BeamHoly Beam — Wait for your tank to start pulling mobs before you use this to keep them alive. Most damage received usually happens after the mobs have already been aggroed and this helps a lot in the time between pull and the time when the mobs get silenced/CC'd.

Divine InterventionDivine Intervention — Use this as an emergency heal. Healing at least one friendly player with this will lower its cooldown by 50%. The skill also knocks enemies up into the air, making it a good choice if you can interrupt multiple mobs that are channeling or casting skills.

Adrenaline Driven CharityAdrenaline Driven Charity — This passive will increase your healing every 4th time you cast a spell.

Elder's Royal RobeElder's Royal Robe

Magic RuneMagic Rune — Wait for your tank to pull mobs before you place this onto the ground where the Ranged DPS players stand so they can make use of the extra damage. However, this skill also increases the healing done and its an obvious choice for you as a healer. Try to always stay within the rune!

AggressionAggression — The perfect passive choice as it increases the healing you do.

Elder's Graveguard HelmetElder's Graveguard Helmet

SacrificeSacrifice — This is another quick heal you can use to save your tank while he is making pulls if he takes too much damage. Try to use this first before using your other healing skills but keep in mind that this will also do some damage to yourself.

Once you are comfortable healing, you can also opt for Elder's Druid CowlElder's Druid Cowl to help your DPS with mana sustain but this shouldn't be used unless you are sure that the tank won't die during pulls.

ToughnessToughness — This passive grants you a bit of nice extra defense which is the only relevant option.

Elder's Shoes of TenacityElder's Shoes of Tenacity

Blind SpotBlind Spot — You can use this to do a bit of damage but your focus should remain healing. If you are doing PVE while in an area where PVP may occur, you should also keep in mind that these boots also turn you invisible to players, allowing you to maneuver around enemies.

Balanced MindBalanced Mind — Just another healing increasing passive.

Elder's Lymhurst CapeElder's Lymhurst Cape

Energy ReserveEnergy Reserve — This cape helps a lot with your mana sustain. It triggers whenever your mana reaches 40% and will regenerate 80% of your max mana over a few seconds so keep healing throughout the duration.

Divine Intervention
  • Start by following the tank as he pulls, stay behind him but make sure that you keep close enough for you to cast SacrificeSacrifice whenever he loses about 20% of hp. Follow up by using Holy BeamHoly Beam while the tank continues making the pull. Once the mobs are together and being CC'd/Silenced, use Generous HealGenerous Heal to constantly heal the tank while sparing heals to the DPS in case they take damage. Once silences and CCs slow down, you can use Divine InterventionDivine Intervention on the tank in order to CC the mobs and also heal both your tank and any Melee DPS you might have in your group.

Consumables

Major Energy PotionMajor Energy Potion — Running out of mana is the last thing you want to happen so you should use Major Energy PotionMajor Energy Potion. Its best to use a t6 one as it offers 50% max mana regen coupled with 28% more over 7 seconds. Keep in mind that this potion ALSO lowers your cooldowns so it helps a bit with your healing.

Another option is to use Invisibility PotionInvisibility Potion in case you are playing with a new tank player that loses aggro easily and the aggro resets onto you because of how much healing you do.

Pork OmelettePork Omelette — Only good choice for food, the Pork OmelettePork Omelette decreases your cooldowns and also increases your cast speed, its perfect for a healer! Use at least a 7.1 version if you do higher tier content.
